Homewood Suites by Hilton Longview

Great Place to stay with your family after a long day at work!! Definitely gonna stay at this place again

Our seven families met at this hotel and stayed here last week for two night. We were in town for our mom’s memorial service. This hotel was very disappointing… questionable cleanliness in most of our rooms. Roaches in several rooms. In fact one was so bad they counted 18. Needless to say they asked for a different room. Later we were in the lobby and saw roaches there and in the women’s bathroom. It’s a shame because the facility itself was a good space. Poor management I suppose. It definitely was not up to the Hilton standard.

My room had roaches. There were baby roaches in room 214 kitchen and bathroom….they were small roaches

Pool was out of order, elevators did not work, hotel was old and smelled of mildew, we were put in a room that had a window facing a bar and all we heard all night was yelling cussing fighting and cars racing, not to mention the floor above us had a room full of kids that were loud jumping off furniture and running around! After a long trip on the road all I wanted was a clean, quiet, well kept facility and this was not and I did not get any sleep. Very disappointed in this 3 star hotel

It was cheaper to book through Expedia than directly with the hotel. So I booked through Expedia. After booking, Kristina, one of the managers called me to confirm the reservation and since we were there due to a family medical emergency, she gave us a further discount that was extremely helpful with our stay. I was there with two small children, so the free morning breakfast and free dinner was very helpful with our stay. We were mainly able to eat our meals other than lunch at the hotel and used the other free time to be at the hospital. Having a Krogers across the street was also a plus. The staff was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The room was spacious with two queen beds in one room, it also had a living or sitting room with a kitchen. It was great to have a pretty much full size refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, dishes, cooktop, and microwave which made things really easy with having children. We didn't have issues with the night clubs near it was pretty quiet during our stay. Since the room was plenty big, it really made our three day stay quite comfortable. It was nice to be able to put the kids to bed in the bedroom and be able to work on other things and relax a bit in the living area.
