I recommend NO ONE EVER EVER EVER waste your hard earn money at this establishment!! Customer service was pathetic. The young guy can't check me in but can surf Facebook right in front of me. $9 for a 20 oz coke, seriously?? Management flat out lied to Hotels.com customer service about what time I checked in. And the breakfast for two that I paid for wasn't somehow in their system but it was on my screenshot! Then I only got a breakfast for one child. Plz don't throw away your time, effort, expectations, and money on this hotel!!!!!

We checked in, went up to our room, and then left the property to grab dinner. When we came back to the hotel, the elevator was out of order. That wasn’t a huge big deal. We walked up 4 flights up stairs with kids and settled in for the night. After grabbing a shower and getting into pajamas I noticed that a “parking pass” (it was a slip of paper we were to place in the dashboard) had been folded and tucked into our key card envelope. Had I been told there was a parking pass tucked into the envelope or just handed it, I could have place the slip of paper on my windshield immediately following check in. Instead I had to wait for my husband to shower, have him walk down 4 flights of stairs, go back to the parking lot in the dark, and walk back up four flights of stairs so our car wouldn’t be towed. Just a bit of an annoyance and something that could have been easily avoided with communication.

At check-in I was given a tag for my car for parking and told to put it on the dashboard. The one night there was fine, nothing remarkable. (The duct tape on the elevator was a little unexpected for a Marriott property, and a small child sitting in the dining area unattended was weird but I think/hope it was the evening desk clerk's son.) Skipped breakfast. At checkout there was a young woman standing in front of the desk. I asked her if she worked there. "No." She wasn't a hotel guest either. A young man wearing a hoodie came out from behind the desk area. (Guess that was his girlfriend visiting.) He was friendly, took my keys, and processed the room check-out. At no time was I informed of any charges; however, a few days later I saw a fee for $4.19 from "I-10" and it turned out to be from this hotel. I called to ask what this was about, thinking they charged my room in error. Turns out there is PARKING RECAPTURE FEE of $3.87 + tax. Hotels.com listing says FREE PARKING, and considering this place is basically in Katy there is no reason for this charge. You can easily park outside the lot, or you can choose a better hotel altogether.
