Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Grand Prairie

Pool wasn’t opened even though online never mentioned it so we had a bunch of grumpy kiddos wanting to access the pool.

It was convenient and near to my family's home. It was clean and very quiet - it was Christmas Eve and Christmas night, and there were very few guests staying there. However, I don't remember being told that housekeeping would not clean my room because it was a holiday. They did tell me that the bistro would not be open, but I expected someone to clean my room. I wish the hospitality industry would stop training the housekeeping staff to fold the toilet paper into a little chevron-V shape. I don't want anyone touching my toilet tissue, especially with hands/gloves that may have cleaning products on them. They need to leave the Kleenex tissues alone also and not shape them into a little flower. I want to be using clean tissues. I do appreciate that you use Kleenex brand facial tissues instead of a generic or hotel brand - Kleenex are always softer.

Not good! Check-in was ok. Rooms need work done . Hard to believe after a few years that a hotel has so many cracks and uncleanliness. I remember when they first opened this hotel. I stayed there and service was great . It was clean! Now the front desk crew seemed unconcerned and one even appeared to have a hangover the morning I went down to ask for more towels and a change of bedsheets. Said she would let them know and later nothing had been changed or any clean towels was delivered. I asked why by the clerk on duty this time and she said it wasn't my day for my room to be cleaned. I needed clean towels because we hadn't any and I thought customers satisfaction came first. I had to ask the lady cleaning another room if she would get me some towels and she did. Never again will I or my family or associates be staying at that Courtyard again!!
