Fairfield Inn & Suites Fort Worth I-30 West near NAS JRB

Booked this hotel for convenience and amenities. My family was looking forward to the breakfast which was to be served at 0600. I inquireed about coffee for around 0430 which is the normal time time for me and wife. We were told it would be available at time in the breakfast area. We drank what was available in the room the night before. Around 0530 the next morning we went down for coffee, what was available was cold from the day before. I inquireed and the young mad said coffee was not available until 0600 with breakfast. I told him the young lady before told us it would be, and he said "She did not know what she was talking about" as he played games on his phone. We asked about more coffee to make in the room, he looked in one drawer and said we don't have any more. We came back to our room. At 0615 we went back no coffee no food. Same young man said lady did not show up to make breakfast and coffee. Two guest were waiting for the same services. All of us left at 0645 with no food or coffee, the site says that is part of they offer. We g a d to leave and go buy breakfast at restaurant to stay on time for appointments. Young man lead us to believe brew as ass being made but after asking for time frame he said "I texted GM and waiting on reply."The night we stayed was quite cool. The heater in the room (216) did not keep up with what was set on the thermostat. Had to keep getting up during the night to turn it up to keep room warm. Set on 85 to get 7p, tstat must be broke!

This is a very clean and friendly hotel. New and clean. Great breakfast. Will stay here now every time in Ft. WORTH to visit family.

There were lots of things about this stay that raised red flags about the management/ownership of this hotel. Checkin was good but there seemed to be a shortage of staff as the front desk staff was trying to get rooms ready too. We had a suite with a sofa bed that was needed for our grandchild staying with us, there was not one sheet, blanket, or comforter for the sofa bed and i had to go down to get them. Our room was not cleaned very well. There was chewing gum smashed into the carpet by the bed, hair ties from another occupant on the nightstand and the tv was left on as well as the remote for the tv was covered in something super sticky. The bathroom was in horrible disrepair. The floor was water damaged and had broken tiles and many loose tiles. The ceiling was covered in what appeared to be black mold as well as the shower curtain was moldy. The shower head was broken and could not be adjusted.the door to the bathroom was loose and did not operate very well and was very difficult to lock. Sunday morning front desk staff was playing on phones when i came down for breakfast and never asked if everything was good or just say hi. Poor hotel and poor help

We really liked this hotel. It was in a great location, decent price and it was perfect for what we needed. It was a good size room and it was very clean and bright. We were staying with our toddler and when we checked in they gave us some bath toys and small soap and lotion for him. That was a really nice "extra" to have. The breakfast staff was fabulous, very friendly and polite. The desk staff was ok. The housekeeping staff was nice and friendly. The only real cons to this room was the room we got was not the room we reserved and the shower was tricky. We reserved a room with a pull out couch and we did not have even a couch. The shower was hard to figure out because the hot water was only hot if you put the knob in the middle. It took us a little while to figure it out. Bottom line, we would stay here again and recommend it to a friend.
