This place is amazing! The girls at the front desk were so kind and cheerful! I came here with my two 13 year olds and they loved the vibe too. I like that they are welcoming to families with kids. There are games for them indoor and outdoor. Super cool, chill and clean hotel. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful hotel in a very cool part of Austin. The rooms are small but comfortable enough for my family of 4. There are lots of games and things for kids to do. The taco place downstairs is open 24 hours. The bar has fun, season-themed drinks. Overall, a great place to stay.

We had to make last minute travel arrangements due to a tragedy in the family, and the Moxy had the most reasonable pricing at the time with proximity to the hospital. Hotel management was incredibly flexible with us as we needed to change our plans due to the family member passing. We appreciated them working with us. All of the staff in general were very friendly.
Overall, the vibe of the Moxy is lively and fun and going through such a stressful ordeal, that made it nice to have a place to unwind, enjoy the fires on the patio with a drink and play a game. Because of our room being just over the patio, we could hear some music/bass at night but it really wasn’t as loud as we expected. The shades, when drawn, made the room very dark so the lights didn’t carry in. The elevators require key access so we felt safe.
The main downsides for us were a) there was an incredibly bright blinking light from the smoke alarm that was a bit annoying, b) the lights are on a motion detector so if someone gets up at night to go to the bathroom the whole rooms lightsturn on, which was frustrating and c) even after the staff tried to help with our TV, we kept having an issue with its connectivity to the internet and couldn’t watch anything without it freezing repeatedly or going “out” altogether. I’d also add that one morning I had a presentation for work, and the fold down desk was difficult to sit at with the strange chairs in the room. All in all, we would stay at a Moxy again.

The vibe was vibing. The check-in staff was really friendly. The pics look better online but the stay was safe and fun. I didn’t know the room was set up where there wasnt a separate room for the shower/bathroom. Kinda awkward when you’re sharing with friends and family.

Very accommodating, especially since we came for orientation at UT Austin. One family member had a disability, and they were very understanding (especially Ken). The checkin and checkout was smooth. Very clean, spiffy, and modern (fun especially for younger adults). The bar, restaurant, rooms, everything was very chick and funky, and at the same very clean and welcoming.

My stay was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and more than helpful. My room was really nice and the vibe in the hotel was great. I invited family over to check it out and they had a couple of drinks at the bar which they really digged. Would highly recommend.

I have somewhat mixed feelings. The rooms were tiny, very bare bones, shower in the room, so you better be close with your roomie if you have to share ( I didn’t). And yet the price is upper echelon hotel ($200 per night). On the plus side: super clean, wonderful friendly helpful staff and great common areas. The large outdoor area as well as the lounge area was perfect for our multi family group attending a wedding. We could hang out together, kids had a pac man machine, large Jenga game, swings. There were large tables where we could bring in outside food or enjoy tacos and drinks from the on-site bar and taco stand. Fun art and decor. Overall I enjoyed it and would go back or to another Moxy. Another note: ridiculously high priced parking. We ubered or walked everywhere.

I love this place! Not pretentious and right on campus so I can be close to my kids when I visit.
