The Westin Nashville

We booked this suite to host our reception for two hours and then head downtown . Checking in was a nightmare!! The hotel charged my card three times and they ended with a system error which then showed a declined card on their end but on my end it was charged . Dealing with all of this took an hour and a half. It was never rectified and I still need to call my cc and deal with that. In the meantime I had two hours until our guests would be arriving and still didn’t have a room. Manager finally stepped up-upgraded us to the larger suite and gave us an extra night in the suite at no cost— Or that’s what I verified and she clarified yet when we checked out -they charged us for that too! Now I have a charge on my card and a charge on my husbands card for over $2400! This was my hotel of choice when visiting Nashville but no longer - In addition we gave them 25 rooms that were our friends and family in town for this event. I understand , they don’t need my help as they are usually booked but it was just so rude and inconvenient. We were originally going to have our wedding there . When we canceled our wedding a few weeks after our deposit they still kept it despite us still booking a large number of rooms and the suite for a night. So this hotel has taken $$3400 from us!!!! Not ok!

Pics of rooftop pool very misleading. It's small and not kid friendly. There are zero places around to get coffee, snack, etc. Should have something in the hotel.

Good thing, the valet is great!! Otherwise it’s not for kids, the pool is adult only all of the time and PACKED. The 3rd floor pool is so overly chlorinated that it tarnished our silver jewelry and burnt skin and eyes. No coffee service and coffee makers in rooms didn’t work, we just would choose a different hotel in the future overall.

We were not told that we were being charged for the wifi. Luckily Hannah is removing the charge for us. The pillows are horrible. Paid $500 to get a good nights sleep away from our toddlers and got no sleep at all.
