We actually switched to the Hyatt because we didn’t like being in East Nashville. Was good for one night but we were staying three and wanted to be in the mix. 5-8 min walk to shopping,Broadway, restaurants and tourist attractions (National museum of African American music is a can’t miss in Nashville - incredible). Staff was great, beautiful hotel, great pool, great gym, kids loved it - especially the escalator. Lol. Complimentary cookies in lobby that they grabbed multiple times. We ate in the restaurant as well several times. Great breakfast - lots of healthy options. Great cheeseburger and fries. For whatever reason I haven’t often stayed with Hyatt but am definitely converted. Did try to go to roof lounge but it was being used for a private event. It did look nice, though.

Worst. BE AWARE!!
They gave me a room right in front of the construction. All night long, i heard drilling and hammpering. I complained at 1 am and the staff gave me ear plugs. My family couldn't sleep with the ear plugs.
They said that it would be better if I chagned the room. Why didn't they give me quieter room if they had availability???????? At 2am, I had to move to different room, but they gave me King size bed room. ( I had 2 queen beds room) OMG. I had to request again, and finally I had a right room with 2 queen beds and no noise. It was 2:30 a.m. I paid almost $400 for the night and I experienced a nightmare.

Great hotel. The rooms and lobby were clean. Modern/updated hotel. Roof top bar had great drinks. High end restaurant, restaurant, and bar with live music. The restaurant had great food and even some menu items for kids. Location is perfect. Five minute walk to the bars and just far enough away it’s quiet at night to get a full nights’ sleep.

Expected better and first off had to switch rooms. Shower wasn't working and sinks dirty. The hotel did switch me on the same floor but didn't offer anything for my time. Just a pain to get settled in with family coming for the holidays and got to switch a room last min. Staff was cool and close to downtown strip

Absolutely brilliant hotel - perfect location to downtown and it’s just a beautiful place. Lots of bars - the pool area and the gorgeous rooftop. Club room was excellent and the service throughout the Hyatt was impeccable. My only negative note was the room service and extremely limited options for vegetarians on the menu; the food when it came (we ordered from the kids’ menu) wasn’t good either - definitely needs a bit of an upgrade! Apart from that, perfect hotel 👍

So to be named the top hotel in the US is a bit of a stretch. We were there over 4th of July. The pool area was not clean at all, to the point that we did not even want to go in the pool. The couches were covered in food and it was a free for all with kids and roudy party goers. Definietly not a relaxing pool at all. The room was nice, although for a new hotel the shower floor was rubbed out already. Hotel staff was responsive to requests when calling and breakfast at their restaurant The Grange was delicious and well priced.

My father was really looking forward to the pool at the Grand Hyatt- it looked beautiful in the pictures. My family stayed three nights- the pool was closed for renovations the first two days and then was closed for a private party the entire last day. He was extremely disappointed and there was no advance notice that the pool would be unavailable for our entire stay. Furthermore, the staff were not accommodating during check-in: I had booked the reservation with my email address, but they would not allow us to check in without my father present (he was parking the car), so we sat in the lobby for a long time. The room wasn’t clean- looked like something was spilled on the bathroom floor. The hotel is in a decent location to tourist spots, but you’ll still need to drive around to see most of th city. Overall, a very disappointing stay for a steep price.

I am a native nashvillian, business owner and father to 4 amazing children and have been very excited to visit the new Grand Hyatt property, but sadly have to admit that I was very disappointed. To be totally fair, our much anticipated stay with this fairly new property was on Valentines Day weekend and they experienced an overwhelming
