Plantation Oaks Suites & Inn

The hotel was packed when we arrived but the front desk lady was very kind and welcoming. Our room was on the top floor. The room was humid the whole time because of the a/c unit but we didnt mind it that much. There was no smoke detector and the fan in the bathroom made a noise when you first turned it on. Our room had 2 double beds and one was broken on the frame making it lean a bit. So we just slept on the other one. There was a gap under the door where bugs would crawl in from outside so we placed a towel there to avoid it. If you aren't planning to stay in the room for much other than sleeping then this is an okay place for the smaller price you pay. But if you brought a family that would be spending most of their time in the room, I'd look elsewhere.

Two rooms for family separated in 2 different buildings, 1 room smelled of smoke and had low uncomfortable beds. Disappointed overall.

Our stay was not excellent, but satisfactory for the location and price. It's on the border of an older part of town but semi-isolated. The room was clean, the inn was in good condition, and the staff was friendly. Comfortable beds, but lumpy pillows. The room was quiet the first night, but a child ran back and forth and jumped around in the room above us until 11 pm the second night. There were no device charging ports anywhere in the room. Although our door was open and cleaning people were present in the hall when I briefly returned to get something, the floor had been swept, otherwise we couldn't tell if the room had been cleaned because the waste baskets had not been emptied though one was full and the tissue box was still empty. Before leaving the room, I had made the beds and hung used towels so they weren't replaced.

Clerk was nice. Food was just okay. Ugly air conditioner unit that’s left on stairs way. Plus in our room we had a bed with very dangerous metal parts sticking out from the bed. It was hidden under the bed skirt. And two people in our family hurt themselves on it. ! Very dangerous! Could hit it and trip into the dresser

We stayed in a suite & it was nothing like what was advertised. The pictures made it look really great but it was run down & dirty. The tub was so narrow you had to be careful when taking a shower not to move around too much. The water didn’t stay heated very long. The stove in the kitchen was very very dirty. They advertised how you could cook for your family but didn’t mention there wasn’t enough supplies to do that. They only had a few utensils, a very small skillet & small pot so you definitely couldn’t cook very much. We pulled open the drawer to the bathroom cabinet which had 2-3 light switch covers, someone’s disposable razors, a used nasal spray, a kitchen knife plus more. The beds were ok but not great & very small pillows. Would definitely recommend not going there.

Management was rude and unhelpful. My family has stayed here often over the years. The stay is usually 3-5 days each visit. Each visit has gotten less enjoyable due to Management/front desk. I was charged for a night that I did not use. Management claimed Expedia refused to removed the charge or cancel the reservation. After hours of communication with Expedia and Motel Manager I got NOTHING. The Motel said EXPEDIA was at fault and needed to cancel the reservations. Expedia chat rep said the the motel refused the cancel. I explained to Manager that Expedia said that they spoke with the Motel and they refused to cancel. At that point I was told that maybe I shouldn't use Expedia next time. I WILL NEVER USE THIS MOTEL AGAIN. Chances are Expedia will NOT be used as well. FYI; the Expedia chat agent was very professional.

Bugs in the toilet, dirty toilet, alarm clock didn’t work, 19” television, electrical plug in the bathroom didn’t work, no blankets on the beds. No, I would never recommend this place to my family or friends.

Property was clean, safe and the staff was excellent. Just what I was looking for for me and my kids. The furniture was pretty dated and has some wear. But totally worth it!

This is the second time we stayed here while visiting family. We’ve had great experiences both times! Staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved our rooms. There are several breakfast options, but not a “hot” breakfast buffet type thing if that’s what you’re expecting. You do have an option for waffles and sausage biscuits if you like those. ☺️ Would recommend staying here.

The pictures make the plantation look more upscale than it is. There was a tv in every room which was helpful. We needed bedrooms and a kitchen since we were traveling with 2 babies for this purposes this place was great had everything we needed. It is also a little ways out of town so at first we felt like we were in the middle of no where. The staff was wonderful!
