Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Chattanooga Downtown, an IHG Hotel

Check in was very easy and quick. All employees we encountered were friendly and helpful. The hotel seemed very family friendly like a lot of people were stopping overnight on the way to somewhere else (exactly what we were doing). It was a nice inexpensive option to rest your head while traveling.

Enjoyed our stay. No complaints! Everything was clean, front desk guy was nice, breakfast was good and our kids enjoyed the pool.

Very comfortable. The only issue was with a room next door where a couple left three children and they stayed in a different room. We didn’t realize that they were alone until the following morning. They were running up and down the hallway until after 11:00pm and up before 6:00am. I called the desk around 10:30 pm and I suppose they contacted the children or the parents but it did no good. We got almost no sleep. The next morning when I was walking down for breakfast a little girl who looked about 6 or 7 opened the door to look out and I heard another child ask her if she wanted to stay there or go to their parent’s room. I realize that this was not the fault of the hotel but it certainly wrecked one night and day of our vacation.

Was bit disappointed when I stayed with family for 2 days and our room didn't get cleaned or towels got changed. Asked front desk and then response we got wasn't convincing enough. But overall a good stay.

Counter service staff was Great! Friendly and accommodating! Room was just right for our short stay. Breakfast was varied and fresh - just right for the morning! Will be back as family is near by.

We reserved this place but when we reached the location around 11:30 PM local time, we were denied the room and was asked to move to a different location at 434 Chestnut St, Chattanooga. We waited for 2.5 hours to get a room. It was really a harassment for my me and my family. I would strongly recommend to stay away from this location to avoid any inconvenience for you and your family.

We only came down that night so that our kids could swim in the pool. We only live 2 hours away. When we arrived was told poil was closed due to some kid puking in it. Said didn’t know when would be clean . Asked for refund was denied and asked speak to manager was also denied that. Was told about hour later that pool had been clean and was ready. When went to look at pool it still had chunks floating. Very upset with how situation was handled and was a wasted trip for us bc we could have drove down the next morning.

The hotel was not kept up well. The blinds were broken, shower head wouldn’t stay in place so it sprayed all over the bathroom, there was a stain on our comforter, kids were loud running up and down the halls at late hours. Breakfast was a joke, we ended up eating somewhere else.Location was good. Quick access to downtown but had to get under the freeway to get there. Not a great stay.

One of the better holiday inn express properties the we’ve stayed in lately. Clean and efficient and well maintained. Staff all helpful and friendly. Good choice if you have kids.
