We were disappointed that so much of Keystone was shut down when we visited over Spring Break, so we were delighted to stay at such a nice, comfortable hotel! The decor was on point, the kids loved the pool (though it was pretty chilly) and the breakfast was great.

We stayed in February which is an off month for the area. We checked in around 9pm and checked out at 645am. For $65 it was great for a family of 4. The staff was not overly friendly but.... they really didn't have a chance to be with our short stay. I would stay here again.

Amazing staff and fantastic amenities. My little ones loved the lobby. Despite it being off season, the experience was great. Thank you!

Great Hotel! Clean, quiet, friendly staff. More than enough breakfast options. And really important: the beds were comfortable 😊. One little thing though: the indoor pool was too cold to enjoy for us and our toddler.

On our out West two week road trip we stayed in 10 different hotels. This was our 2 night stop for Custer State Park/ Mt. Rushmore. The location was great for walking to shops and dining. We used the pool and hot tub, and also laundry facilities. Laundry was more expensive than Yellowstone hotels. Our family of 4 (2 adults, 16yr and 11yr old) stayed in a King room with pullout couch (16 on pullout, 11 on the couch cushions made into a bed as not to share bed with her brother ;-) ). We enjoyed playing cards in the lobby one rainy night.

This place is great! It has the feel of a hunters cabin or a rustic lodge. The rooms are big, and the breakfast is great each day. We were visiting off season(Before May, after December) so most of the town is closed, but there are two towns within 20 minutes so there are many options to eat that are pretty close. If you are staying on season, everything is open. This hotel is about 7 minutes of a drive to Mt. Rushmore. This is a family owned and operated hotel, and everyone is very friendly. I will stay here again in the summer months!

Bed was comfortable, breakfast was good, facility was clean. My only complaint was the noise. It sounded like a family of elephants where in the room above me. I stayed two nights and both nights I was woken by it.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel had very comfortable beds and pillows, we slept very well. Also it is beautifully located in a very convenient spot. Keystone is a nice little place to stay with lots for families to do. Breakfast was good and fully stocked. Would stay again.
