Hyatt House Charleston / Mount Pleasant

First let me say that the beds were most comfortable, the breakfast was very good and the staff was cheerful and courteous. However, the room itself was very disappointing. To begin with the standard rooms are much smaller than what you’d expect for a Hyatt. Second, the bathroom floor and shower walls were dirty and the shower water pressure was ridiculously low. It took me twice as long to take a shower because the pressure wasn’t much more than a trickle. Further, my family member and I stayed 3 nights and NOT ONCE was our room serviced. When we checked in we were told that the room would be serviced after the second night, but even that didn’t happen. At $300 a night that is simply unacceptable. Housekeeping at this hotel is a joke. I will never stay here again.

Nice and clean. Easy parking. Only downfall was I didn’t know the bathroom door will lock automatically if you take a really hot shower from the steam. My kids kept playing with the door so I thought it was them but to my surprise it was normal. Thankfully my 2 and 3 year old were not inside there as I would’ve had to wait on maintenance

We loved our stay at Hyatt House MP. It was convenient for our family to have plenty of space to spread out and cook our own meals. Great location to drive to Charleston, Sullivan’s Island, and Isle of Palms. The staff was incredibly friendly and even allowed us to check out a day early to avoid the approaching winter storm as we headed back north. We truly appreciated it!

Great place for my family!

My family and I had a wonderful stay here while we were on holiday in Charleston for the weekend. The grounds were beautifully maintained and located within the heart of a scenic neighborhood (great for morning/afternoon walks). Our room had everything we needed including a full kitchen, 2 refrigerators (one mini), a King bed, couch bed as well as a spacious shower. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and informative. The location was 10-15mins from The Isle of Palms as well as other locations within Mount Pleasant. The complementary breakfast was a beautiful and convenient addition as well. We highly reccomend staying here!

Took a two day trip with family and the hotel was great. Sits about halfway between downtown and the beach. Quiet, if you are looking for something that is not in the center of all the busyness. Will definitely book here when we visit again.

Uniqueness was that each room was a fully furnished kitchen and a family room. Very clean with excellent service staff
