Hampton Inn & Suites Charleston/Mt. Pleasant-Isle Of Palms

Everything was great with my stay, except that I was given a room next to multiple rooms of teen girls and their families here for an event. Surprisingly, the evening was quiet, but they were traveling room to room from 5:45-7:45 a.m. To make matters worse, the doors slam shut every time they close. It made for a not so restful sleep which was what I really needed.

Our room was very neat and clean. We had the suite and the layout worked well for my family of four. The staff from the front desk to the breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful.

Outstanding and service is outstanding. Always a smile and very helpful. The hotel is very clean and rooms are also very clean. Customer service is outstanding. Treat you like family!

Our stay was very nice. Check- in was smooth and our room was nice. Simple, clean and nice comfortable beds. My only complaint was that the first night of our stay, a kids baseball team was having a birthday party and occupying the entire pool area and it was very loud and not a place I would want to be to relax and swim. I e never seen a hotel allow one party to monopolize the whole of one public space with no previous warning. Otherwise, the stay and room itself, worked out well.

This was our first time at this property, and it will not be our last! Jake, the front desk supervisor, greeted us and got us set up in a wonderful room. We needed a tub to wash our baby and he quickly accommodated us. From there, each interaction with him and the other staff members was wonderful. The breakfast was good and the attendants were so friendly. The room itself was clean and spacious. There was plenty of parking and entrances so it was very convenient to get to our room. The location is also superb. Staying on the IOP Connection Hwy was perfect for us. Also, there were plenty of restaurants and shopping available within a few minutes. Highly recommend booking this hotel for the staff, cleanliness, convenience, and hospitality!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Location was ideal- 10 min drive to the Isle of Palms beach, 15 mins to historic Charleston and located in a quiet suburban area close to all necessary access highways. The complimentary breakfast had really good food-waffles, eggs/ omelettes,cereal, grits, bacon or sausage, fresh juice, bagels, muffins. They also had 2 helpers at breakfast who were pleasant and helpful with keeping the food supply plentiful. The outdoor pool was also clean and had fresh beach towels for guest’s use. There were several families staying there. It looked like a great place for kids- yet had quiet areas for other guests. All in all, it was awesome.10/10

Absolutely loved our one-night stay here! Wish it was longer. The staff were so professional and friendly and made you feel at home immediately! The room was clean, nothing amiss that I could see except maybe slightly outdated and needs more color. It was perfect for our needs. Only thing I could complain about was the bed sheets and blanket weren't the best, and the pillows were super flat. The shower felt sooo nice, we never ran out of hot water. The complimentary breakfast was awesome! The ladies in the kitchen were like mothers, super sweet. Shout out to Isabelle, she was so precious! Didn't catch the name of the other lady but they were both great. There were two different omelets, potatoes, oatmeal, several kinds of waffles, coffee, tea, yogurt, toast, muffins, fruit, etc! The pool was open and was a little bit dirty from surrounding plants and trees but nothing that kept us from going in. So many families were staying here, people were very nice. Walls were kind of thin in the bathroom, could hear a conversation in the next room. There was a lot of heavy running on the floor above us during the night, but other than that we were not disturbed by anyone. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again.

The lobby was beautiful but rooms truly need to be renovated! We had a queen suite; it was roomy enough but kitchen area was tiny and walls were very thin. We were on an end corner room and could still hear the folks in the next room down. We really lucked out and during half of our five day day; a little league tour must have been going on and it was really noisy especially at night with kids running up and down the halls. We tried to go out to the pool Saturday afternoon and there were at least a dozen kids running, screaming and jumping. I’m all for having fun, but this was complete chaos. I can’t blame the hotel because parents were just sitting there socializing and not saying a word to the kids. I guess they thought they owned the place and nobody else was entitled to use the amenities. Water pressure good in the shower and breakfast was a typical Hampton spread; quite adequate. Breakfast ladies were so nice and kept on top of things! Front desk folks were all friendly and very willing to help ! Location is perfect about 15 minutes to either isle of palms or Sullivan beach and 15-20 minutes to the market in Charleston. All kinds of stores and restaurants within walking distance. Location is awesome!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the lady that worked the front desk was. She went out of her way to welcome my grandchildren and treated them like they were special. I wish I had gotten her name and plan to call tomorrow to get it.
