Liked that there was no carpet on the floors so the room felt cleaner. What I didn’t like is there is a club on the rooftop so in front of the hotel on weekend nights there’s usually a bunch of youngsters hanging out which we didn’t care for.

Overall its a cool hotel. Very friendly staff. If you stay here, prepare for a $21/person breakfast buffet that you would normaly see at a mid level hotel for free or pay for the restaurant breakfast located on site. Also, do the valet service if you can. It'll save you from having to be asked 20 times if you can spare change from the homeless that hang out on broad st. It is expensive too so be sure u save up a small fortune because its $64/day if you park over night. I was disappointed how much extra i had to pay for things when most hotels offer simple breakfast for free. When paying almost $200/night breakfast shouldn't cost an extra $84/day for a family of four.

This was a last minute booking. Hotel room was nice and clean and spacious enough for a downtown hotel and a family of four. Room had all necessary amenities including fridge and good TV plus couch. Hallways were tired and restaurant couldn’t get a breakfast out to us in under an hour but location was good and price was right.

It was a wonderful experience at the Cambria. My family went down to watch the superbowl, and while the outcome wasn't what we hoped for, the staff was wonderful, attentive and kind. The rooms were comfortable and the bar was a great place to watch the game. I was very pleased with the hotel. The NFL refs are a different story......

We arrived after 4 pm abd out room was not ready until around 7pm. We went to our room and it was missing coffee creamer, coffee, directory, and a Do not Disturb Sign. The bathroom was out of Body Wash and the there was only a few kleenex in the box. I informed the front desk via messaging and not one housekeeper came and assisted. I went down to the front desk to tell them. They did not have any signs or supplies to help. The next day we tol the front desk the same thing. They wrote it down. Our room was not serviced all day, after mutliple requests. That evening they said we had a do not disturb on our door, which is a lie because we didnt have a sign and have a record requesting it for some time. They finally had a housekeeper show, and instead of servicing, she came to the door and said, "wjat do you want?" She gave some of the the supplies we asked for, but we were still out of stuff. Upon checkout, they tried to lock us out, even though they guarenteed a late checkout. They told us we never requested, when we had the check in guy who guarenteed it, write it down on thir logbook. In summary, we did not appreciate coming into an empty room that was not ready at check in, being called a liar, and front desk not following through on our agreed requests. When we move there, we will not be recommending this hotel to family that comes to visit.

We stayed as a family for one night. It was close to the museum and nice restaurants. The front desk staff was super nice and accommodating. The room was clean and big which was nice. The hotel page says that breakfast was included but that was not the case. It was no longer offered. There are great options nearby though.

This hotel had its pros and cons. I would have expected a friendlier staff (with the exception of the Lobby agent who was very pleasant), considering this is the city of brotherly love. That friendly service was nowhere to be found. Starting from the valet staff to the cleaning service who brought us extra towels and literally dropped them in my hands and walked off without a single word. The room was dirty (weeks old cheesies on the floor, under the bed, and the floors were filthy!!!). Like many other reviews on this hotel, i have to agree that the sheets not fitting the bed was a major inconvenience as they popped off several times a night. They need to invest in deep mattress sheets. But what bothered me the most and this was so unacceptable...was the amount of marijuana smoking all around us that my young teens were exposed to in the hotel, in the elevator, etc. It was everywhere. I get that weed is legal, but it was my understanding that this was a nonsmoking hotel or at the very least the floor would have been. The language of those in the room next to us was vile and we could hear every cinversation. This is NOT a family friendly hotel based on our experience.
On the flip side...the location is fantastic, in the arts area and around every major historic attraction. Not too far from the shoping district but too far from decent coffee boitiques. Had to walk awhile to find decent coffee.
My next trip to Philadelphia would not be in this area or with this Hotel.

Our hotel room was nice, spacious and clean. Everything in room worked and there were no disturbances. The one thing the hotel needs to invest in is STAFFING. The service we got from the lone waiter at the hotel breakfast Sunday morning was among the very worst I have ever experienced. He was aloof and seemed confused. He forgot our beverage orders TWICE, and when we asked whether kids’ side protein could be replaced, and he said he would check with the kitchen, he forgot that as well. The cutlery available at the side table ran out while we were dining, and when the party in the next table asked for an additional knife, he said “sorry, we don’t have any more”! Unbelievable. Note, the restaurant was not very busy, there were only four tables with people. To top this, at the time of payment, as I handed him my credit card, he required I fill in the needed information before he would process it. I have NEVER experienced a situation where I need to fill in the tip etc. while the waiter observes me doing so before my card being swiped, and it made me quite uncomfortable. Especially, as I felt I would not feel correct tipping at all for this extremely substandard service. When I pointed this out to him, he mumbled something unclear about them having to do this because of identity thefts!! The breakfast itself was OK.
The front desk seemed constantly overwhelmed with only one receptionist, and the waits were long. Please get some additional staff. The bartender at bar was nice.

The hotel itself is a great location if your traveling by air and don’t want to rent a car, then it’s perfect. Has several restaurants, bars, pubs, plenty of shopping and everything is all in walking distance from the hotel. Unfortunately our room itself was dirty, mold and hair in the shower, stains on bathroom wall, the nastiest part of the room is that the floor was filthy like no one even cleaned the floor before turning the room over to us. I wore socks the entire time I was in our room and I kid you not that the bottom of my socks were BLACK!! Also the room we had was a king size bed and they had a queen comforter on the bed. Just overall I was not happy with the cleaning in our room. Definitely not worth $400 a night, of course I was here in May 14th-17th and that’s how much the rooms were that weekend.

We love the location, right at the heart of Philly's objects of interest.
What disappointed us quite significantly was the fact that we were given a room 1508 that was not cleaned, there were things in that room that belonged to the previous guests. The room service assistant also saw the room and confirmed with front desk that the guests in that room haven't checked out.
We were then given another room but not even offered anything to relieve our stress, going up and down the floors with 2 kids and luggage, not to mention only 1 elevator working. We didn't even hear an apology from the front desk staff.
For the price that we paid, this is very very disappointing. The only thing saving them is their location. But we'll definitely stay at another hotel next time.
