We stayed here bet 7 April - 9 2024 April with my wife and toddler and another family who are our friends.
We were about an hiur ealry for our 3 pm check in so we checked with fromt desk - he said the room was not available of which I can undestand. Came back around 3:20 pm and he said we couldn’t check in as it is “not available and besides check in starts at 3 pm?” This to me was not right. The website says 3 pm check in not start to check in. I appreciate it was busy but they should be more forthcoming and transparent in their website about check in times. It was so inconvenient us. Very disappointing to say the least. Very unhelpful too - when we were handed our key cards, the manager who was at the helpdesk just handed it and did not say a word where to go and did not give us any directions. Poor customer service.
Some positive - we were allowed to leave some
Of our luggage and we were givenbrealfast voucher for the 2 nights. (Thank you)
However, I think there’s something to be learned from this poor customer experience.

The staff is very nice. The walls are paper thin. We had a child next to us jumping on the bed, yelling and screaming cuss words at all hours. I don’t recommend this place

You question the cleanliness of the room when you shoes 'stick' to the floor as you walk across...
Both the front desk and breakfast team were not even close to being friendly...the hotel obviously caters to business travelers and are not accustomed to families

The jr king suite room was a great size for my family of four. The room was clean and convenient for us. Would definitely recommend it for anyone going to Hershey

Nice, helpful staff. However our room was not very clean. There was hair in the shower so I doubt they even cleaned it before we checked in. Also I was checking in with 3 children, which I stated on my reservation yet there were not enough pillows in the room nor enough towels.

I booked what was called a “junior suite” and it was extremely misleading on the website. It was not a suite. Housekeeping didn’t give us toilet paper or tissues and we had to beg for new towels. A large tote bag full of groceries was stolen from our room. The staff did nothing about it! We were supposed to at least get a phone call from the hotel manager. We didn’t! The front desk and breakfast area staff were great though. I still would not recommend this hotel.

Our yearly Hershey park trip we take every year. The outside of the hotel was nice, staff is friendly, pool and our room with two queen beds was clean and was used a lot by my kids! What I didn’t like was a few things:
1- there wasn’t enough towels in the bathroom of our room and when we called for some the person said “he’ll see what he can do”
2- the pillows on the bed were flat (not a huge issue) to solve that I asked for more pillows. There’s a shortage on pillows and they needed to be found and brought to our room.
3-The fitted sheet on the bed kept coming off the bed.
4- this is probably a growing thing but no more continental breakfast. The fee is 10 dollars per person to have a choice between two entrees, pastries, and cereal. The diner down the road was cheaper and we got more for our money. (Cocoa diner)
My 3 kids really enjoyed the pool, the restaurants and attractions around the hotel. From the beginning, we come to Hershey every year. I wasn’t really impressed with this hotel. For the price we paid per night, I wished it was a better experience overall.

Although the hotel staff were nothing but friendly and professional, we never had hot water from the shower. Lukewarm water from the tub faucet and vanity faucet only. The TV remote control initially did not work at all, the replacement only worked if standing directly in front of the TV. Fellow guests were extremely loud and children were left to wander, run and scream as they wished around the hotel. None of these issues were in the control of the staff. However, the cleanliness of the elevator, hallways and room are in their control. None of these spaces would be considered clean. The room was passable, especially as we were exhausted at check-in. The elevator was the filthiest one I’ve ever been in, and that includes an elevator in Myrtle Beach during college Spring Break during the 80s! This hotel is tired and needs major renovations and Hilton certainly knows it.

Will not recommend staying here. When we first arrived, someone knocked on the door to "see if someone was in the room". Made my wife uncomfortable. The next morning, a maintenance guy know on the door one time then opened the door with his key while my wife and kids were still getting dressed. He stated that "they were just checking to see if the hot water was working". Did not like this at all especially just opening the door without permission. That night, i went to go get ice, and the ice bucket had mold in the bottom. The fridge wasnt clean. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. The pullout bed had a mattress on it and you could feel every spring in the mattress when sitting on it. All of the suites are connecting rooms. We will definitely not be staying here again!

The staff was nice and the distance to Hershey Park is all that is good about this property. The rooms were dingy. We checked in with a party of 4, but only had 3 towels and it took forever to get the missing towel. The very worse thing is that there is NO HOT WATER. I had to bathe my poor child as he was shivering from the cold. The front desk said they were aware of the problem and that they had an engineer on site to try to fix it and he had reset the heater. The entire 3 days I was there, I could not get a hot shower. The pool area was lackluster, not heated at all. The manager quoted is $14/pp for breakfast, meanwhile on the site it said $10/pp. Needless to say I will not be coming back to this property.
