Best Western Salbasgeon Inn & Suites Of Reedsport

It was decent, apparently we stayed in one of the nicest rooms, but the front desk lady was a bit nosey and definitely made the experience awkward. She made it clear we were staying in the nice room, asked me what I did for a living, and instead of just giving us our keys, she "showed" the room off to us like a realtor, which was a bit weird. Then, when my kids wanted to swim in the pool, she legit made me sing to get towels from her. It was terribly uncomfortable and honestly felt like she was trying to knock me down a peg or something. I will say the breakfast was great.

I paid for two db rooms, I was charge for two rooms 4a/2kids; from Expedia the reservation said 1 2b room. Lobby clerks refused to help me accommodating my kids and I cause “it was Expedia’s problem” clerks said. Since there’s was no other option, I left and still got charged one night since it was 6:21pm. I worked in hotel management, I can confirm the system is rigged taking advantage of travelers; hotels intentionally overbooked the last rooms and hotels.com is in it.

The suite was perfect for our family. I loved the separate bedrooms. The kitchen set up was nice and stocked withmost amenities. The pool area was clean, but too muggy inside.

We stayed here in February. The sofa bed that we received had blood stains. We were so disturbed. The staff was able to offer an additional room to support us but we had to split our family and still utilize the room with blood. The staff had stated they would be issuing us a refund for our booking. It is now 3 months since our stay and we have not received a return phone call or email and no refund. Staff were friendly and supportive but the accommodations were not pleasant.

we try to always book best westerns. we had a bad experience with my kids phone getting stolen from a resteraunt over in reedsport but the hotel we enjoyed. swimming, hot tub, nice huge hottub in hotel room, beautiful window view, friendly workers, good breakfast

Rooms exactly look like motel 6, but I paid 250 for a night to take my kiddo to the pool. When checking in the young lady told us the pool is closed. My toddler got a melt down started crying, dragging him toward the pool. In the middle of this, she approached me and looked into my eyes and said we shouldn’t be near the pool. I said it’s not fair we booked that place only for pool to burn the kiddo energy after a long drive. She said you can go to a lake, in cold windy weather at 7:00pm! She was extremely rude and behave hatefully toward us. I asked to talk to a manager, and she said I can come back next day at 9:30. I said I need to talk to her now and she picked up the phone and said there is a client who wants compensation, she didn’t say a word about pool, my kid wanting the pool crying on the floor, and then hang up. She told me there is nothing they can do because I booked through Expedia and they don’t get the money, period. We didn’t check in, returned the key there and moved on to next city. The interaction was so ugly. The young lady behavior was so ugly that we decided never ever go to hotels in small cities. Since then we only get rental home and it’s way better, more convenient, cleaner and cheaper.

Very friendly staff, room was very nice and clean, breakfast was good and the kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Our family had a great stay at this hotel. We enjoyed the pool and the free breakfast immensely.

They had a room with 2 queen and 1 king to accommodate my family for a comfortable stay.
