Moxy Portland Downtown

The staff was super kind, they let me check in a few hours early which I was grateful for. The decor is definitely a party vibe with a check in counter connected to a bar, so it feels a little more fitting for adults as opposed to families with young kids. The room was compact but very cozy! I had everything I needed for my stay, and they even have closets on every floor with extra amenities for guests. It was relatively quiet for my stay but probably because I stayed on a week day. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff was SPECTACULAR! My daughter had surgery and they had our room waiting for us. She was not feeling well, they gave us Ginger ale and asked what else they could do .. made us feel like we were family. This will be the only place we stay from now on! Love, Love, love!

I couldn’t sleep the people next door had a baby and I could hear the baby crying.

Pros： 1. The room is clean. 2. The staffs are friendly. 3. Nice little gym for workout. 4. Free self-served drinks and snacks upon check in. Cons： 1. We booked a room with a bunk bed since we have a little boy but the room was not available at check in. The manager then gave us a room with only double bed and wavied the valet parking fee as compensation. 2. The space of the room is tiny. Also, the minimalism design of the room doesnt fit everyone especially when you have a kid. Some of the common amenities are missing such as mini fridge, kettle and garbage can. 3. There is no lock on the bathroom slide door. Also the shower room is only fenced with a small piece or glass which makes water can splash out easily. 4. There is no self on site parking which means you will need to use valet price with high cost or park at the street at your own risk.

Beds super comfortable. Great location. Check in was ok. The parking situation didn’t seem clear on the website and is 59 USD a night and you don’t have access to the car without asking valet to bring it to you every time as it’s not on site. This wasn’t ideal travelling with teens/children. No other parking option was given to me.

We had a great time at the Moxy Hotel? This is a great hotel for young adults. We traveled to Portland for a concert and I wanted to get a hotel when my adult children would enjoy themselves. Highly recommend, the vibe is everything!!

Perfect location for walking around. Rooms are clean and bed was very confortable. Microwave, toaster and great coffee downstars at the lobby. Very original decor although it does have an "adult" feel to it, so I don’t think I would come with my kids.
