The purpose of the stay is for family trip. The hotel is generally good and the staffs are friendly and helpful. The parking is just too expensive since only valet parking is available in the hotel. We feel it is unsafe to go outside of hotel in the evening, especially with the kids.

No positives in this review unfortunately. It was a Sunday during the snowy weather. Sidewalk was not cleared. No parking except Valet for a ridiculous price. I finally park my vehicle on the street. It was about 4 or 5 pm and I’m told the restaurant is closed. I was surprised to see no complimentary bottled water in the room. Having used Marriott many times there was always 2 bottles of water in the room. Upon waking up I go down for coffee and was told we don’t have any until the restaurant opens as nobody here knows how to make it. Those were the words, I kid you not. I take a shower and the handle for the water comes off. I let the front desk know the handle is on the bathroom counter, told them the experience was not good and I left.

We were a family of four, with 2 children, ages 8 and 10, and overall had a good experience at this hotel. Below is my pro & con list: Pros: 1) Location is within close proximity (walking distance) to many restaurants. 2) Staff were extremely kind, friendly and helpful. 3) Our children loved that the lobby & restaurant had arcade style games. 4) Rooms were clean, large and modern. Cons: 1) The safe in our room was out-of-order, and was never fixed or replaced. 2) The drain in the shower was clogged, and thus there was water back-up. 3) The food at the hotel restaurant was terrible. 4) When we called the front desk informing them of a dog barking non-stop in the room next to us at 11pm, rather than stating they'd speak to the guests about the noise, they offered us earplugs. 5) Large homeless population living on the streets out front of the hotel. Even though the con list is longer than the pros, it was still an enjoyable stay.

This property had mixed reviews so I was a bit skeptical. We stayed in the family suite and we were pleasantly surprised. The roominess was ver comfortable. It was very clean. The staff was very helpful & pleasant, especially the young lady in the bar/restaurant. Just be aware that the surrounding area OUTSIDE this hotel is pretty sketchy with a lot of homeless & strange people walking around.

I really wish I had been aware of just how bad the homeless population was outside this hotel. Could see people shooting up from my hotel window and when I left to grab a quick breakfast at a Food truck I quickly returned to the safety of my room. The streets wreak of Urine and feces. I feel terrible for the businesses in this area, but also if your traveling With your family PLEASE stay away from down town hotels. You’ll spend your walks outside the hotel staring at the ground paranoid of needles and defection and your children will be scared for life.

The best part of our stay was the hospitality of the staff. They really made you feel like at home. Always asking if we needed anything or asking how was our day. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom, and more specifically the bathtub was a little outdated but was spacious and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends and family. Thank you!!
