La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Newport

I am a grandmother traveling alone with an autistic child. The desk staff immediately saw this and bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we need. He was so kind and caring!

We booked this stay for the hot tub. I have a medical condition that the hot tub helps with. I called and was told hot tub works, so paid a extra 120.00 dollars only to be told hot tubs not working, it is a amenity you dont pay for amenities. I beg your pardon you most certainly do pay extra for amenities. Also children running and laughing in the hallways notified front desk. Nothing done about it. Screaming kids in pool in hallways and at breakfast. The girl working the breakfast did a good job restocking and cleaning so we did tip her. Will not be back if thats how you treat customers. Front desk offered to ca cel our reservation on a prepaid non refundable room, on a holiday weekend, but we had to decline since all the hotels around where no vacancy.

This was a nice place to stay with the kids. We liked the breakfast, pool, and the gym. It was clean and the staff was friendly.

Staff was very friendly and their breakfast was very good for a hotel breakfast. Skip pig n pancake and let ur kids make their own waffles! Ours loved it and said it was awesome.

The front desk staff were amazing. The night time front desk woman was more than helpful! She gave us great ideas for dinner and also gave us ideas of other things to see while we were there. The hotel was perfect for our kids, who loved the pool. We will definitely be back.

I was traveling with my children and my pups. Everyone was happy how clean and refreshed the room was and easily accessible for walking them all easily inside and out. Right by the Oregon Coast Aquarium, it was an easy walk over and found a cute little beach on the way back to the hotel. Super fun and really worth the stay, also my children can not stop talking about how big the breakfast room was and all the foods they offered 😂 Will definitely return ❤️

We were made to feel unwelcome because our baby didnt feel well and cried very poor insulation in walls

We booked to stay here on a whim March 31st. When we arrived at the hotel it looked nice but when we went up to the room our door was open. We ignored this thinking maybe housekeeping just didn't close the doors. When we pulled out the pull out bed there was blood on the sheets and mattress protector. We went to the front desk. They simply gave us fresh bedding. After that we checked out the room some more. We found our trash hadn't been emptied, our shampoo/bathroom amenities were used, and both main beds had bright red staining in them. It's like our room had been in use until shortly before we got there. When I spoke to the front desk they gave me a total brush off about the biohazard, and then only offered a partial refund for our stay. My kids and I slept on the floor in our room cause we didn't trust that we wouldn't find more blood or who knows what else. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT CLEAN AND ACCOMIDATING HOTELS/STAFF. It's been a fight and half between the site I booked with and the hotel to even get a partial refund. First and only time I'll ever stay at a la Quinta. We stayed in a significantly cheaper hotel for our second night out of town and had a much better experience. Literally stay anywhere else unless you want to sleep in a dirty blood covered room.
