Best Western Astoria Bayfront Hotel

We loved our stay. Everything was clean & comfortable. We absolutely loved the pool and the little library. My kids loved getting a book to read for bedtime each night. The chowder was a delicious perk!

Had a good breakfast nice room coffee makers in room. Area was quiet seemed like safe area for families. Had to wait a little bit to check in but not a big deal.

Perfect spot for the family trip to Astoria!

Excellence unplanned stay. A lot of us will caught the wrong side of the river during the ice storm and this hotel welcomed everybody with open arms and catered for reservation extensions too. Many might forget that a lot of the staff had to overnight at the hotel away from their families too. The only disadvantage with me managing to get my car out is that I missed the chowder at 5:00 p.m. which was awesome the day before.

We had to cancel our reservation because our guest speaker had a family emergency and Expedia and the hotel wouldn’t refund the money or compromise in any way. We won’t use either again

As we walked in there were complimentary Otis Spunkmeyer chocolate chip 🍪 cookies on the counter. The receptionist was Alicia and she was friendly and very welcoming. She informed us off all the other amenities/complimentary items such as Smoked Salmon chowder at 5PM. The pool is open until 10 PM and 24hrs for adults. Theres a library and even a workout room on our floor (2nd). Our room was clean, towels fluffy, beds/pillow were comfy and we even had robes. Our view was nice. Breakfast was expected. Clean and well maintained. Everything hot was fresh. Staff was very friendly. Definitely will stay here again and HIGHLY recommend. Hotel is about a 7 minute walk to 4 delicious food trucks (Taco, Thai, Island, & burger). We travel a lot and this hotel has made our families top 5 besr places to stay. In the morning we enjoyed a nice walk which there is a sidewalk behind the hotel. I also loved that the pool/hot tub area was clean and well stocked with towels.

I didn't get a chance to stay.. First off I never received a confirmation from Expedia who I booked through, No instructions regarding cancelation. Had within 24 due to a family emergency and was charged for a no show, even I though spoke with a front desk clerk over the phone. Because the desk clerk didn't give me a cancellation number they said I couldn't dispute the charge. I asked them to confirm that I had canceled over the phone however no one would return my calls or emails. Worst customer service experience.

It was like a home away from home fir me and my family. Quiet, clean and nice place. Thanks to the staff who worked there this Easter.

It was a great place for me and my family, we also brought our pet dog which made it an awesome trip!
