Comfort Inn & Suites Shawnee North near I-40

Staff was helpful. Pool area was nice for the kiddos. Only thing people were smoking in the room across the hall and it stunk up the rooms and hall ways.

Ultimately the reason we checked out and left was because we found LOTS of men’s hair in one of the beds. It was as if someone had slept in the bed and they remade the bed versus changing the sheets. On top of that, there was never anyone at the front desk. I went to the desk multiple occasions for check in, ask for new sheets for the hairy bed, ask for soap after the dispenser was empty and took my money, and check out- no one was at the front on any of these occasions. I waited 10min or more for someone to come to the front and once had to call to get someone to come to the front. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone, but especially not families. The hotel was full of workers/truckers and not families. More like a motel than a hotel. I’ve seen Motel 6s that were better than this though!

The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast had a large variety and it was very good. My kids likes the pool it was warm and clean.

I was disappointed. The TV didn’t work well. Only got local stations. The pool was full of kids and looked nasty. The 6 am breakfast started at 6:45. Will try Hampton’s next time. Nice staff
