Best Western Plus Midwest City Inn & Suites

Great location for us as 10 min to family and 10 min to the church ceremony. Nicer safer area tan we’re other family stayed down the road.

When checking in the receptionist came around the counter smelt like smoke and was wearing no shoes only socks. She was coughing the entire time I checked in. When I asked if she was ok she said “yes, it’s from smoking too much”. When we got up to the room it reeked of Chinese food to the point it made my kids sick to their stomach. The following morning we went down to the pool where there were no towels. We walked to the front desk to check out and there was a Police Officer standing there looking for us to tell us our truck had been broken into and ransacked. The drivers window was completely smashed out and the truck was torn apart. My kids waited inside the lobby for me to make a report etc and heard the front desk lady and housekeeping lady say “well it says don’t leave things in your car,dumb”. It upset my kids and they walked out to the parking lot to be with me.

Upon check in, The staff was terrible. The man was degrading me in front of my kids. He was rude and disrespectful.

Check in/out was efficient, room was clean and breakfast was yummy. I like the "breakfast sandwich" station. It was just a little disappointing that towels ran out at the pool(it seemed they weren't checked the night before). My only main issue is the ashtrays that are bolted right outside the doors!! Each door has a sign that states "No smoking within 30 feet" and yet there is a metal ashtray bolted(at about 5 feet high) literally right outside each door. My whole family has allergies (as many people do) and there was not a single entrance that we could use without going through smokey residue or past a smoker.

It was a great stay, front desk employees were great and the bed and pillows were very comfortable, the kids love the pool and location was perfect for the Sooners game we attended.
