Comfort Inn

Don’t waste your money. Due to travel delays, we checked into hotel at 1am. The hotel smelled terrible and our room was 80 degrees. Had to put cold washcloths on my kids to get them to sleep. Got to breakfast 1hr before it ended and there was nothing left (have pictures). Bold coffee was brown water. We travel a lot for sports and I’ve never experienced anything like this before.

Overall, it was clean and well-managed. Our family stayed less than 24 hours, so really not much else to report. The beds were comfortable and we had a decent room.

This property is not what it shows online. When we arrived the staff was outside smoking while one of the employees child was behind the desk on the phone. We were then notified that there is no hot water, someone staying there let us know they hadn’t had hot water for 3 days prior. We did have hot water the remaining day we stayed. Breakfast was as limited as it comes and was jot at all appetizing. The pool appeared to have some sort of blooms on the water surface. The room was okay at best. The toilet was dirty along with the shower. The bathroom sink had very little water pressure to even make washing hands doable. I won’t be staying there and I will let others know to not stay there either.

The room was large and bed was comfortable. Sadly the room was not clean, long black hair was on the bed and ice bucket. The bed skirt was covered in sticky stains and the bed spread had stains and was wrinkled as if already slept in and re-made. Also thin walls, we could hear a couple arguing and kids yelling all night.

Clean room ( beds specifically plus here, although I must say that bed sheets pretty old) ) also few disappointments :1) floor not vacuumed or old carpet. Coughed all night because of the dust therefore could y sleep well because of that. Bathroom walls needs not only cosmetic maintenance but absolute remodeling, because it looks like abandoned and neglected bathroom that no one cares how it could effect mental health of kids who or young adults! For one night is tolerable but would go back again. Will try other options out there near by next time. So 5 stars for hospitality, 1 star for quality sleep and not renovated room : walls and carpet.

My family and I stayed for two nights during MU orientation. The hotel definitely needs a face lift and some TLC. Our room was on the first floor and had a damp feel to it and mildew on the ceiling of the bathroom. Will be staying elsewhere in the future. The price was definitely not worth it. Chose this place due to its proximity to the university.
