Misleading room photos, misleading photos of the area around the building (the outside of the building itself and surroundings just look like dirty campus apartments) and overall property description, no management or work being done really. Adult campus kids running and screaming through halls, nobody does anything. Some kind of poop or throw up trail on the floor overnight and through the entire next day, nobody does anything. The public areas that they are charging you for are not kept clean, and it was hard to even just get housekeeping for my own room.

Great area to be close to campus and kids that go to "THE" Ohio State University! Rooms are perfect size for sleeping which is usually not very long due to cramming as much into a weekend as possible!

We loved the Urban! From the check-in process with a great staff, free ice cream, clean room, and lots of amenities, it was the perfect place for us to meet up with family. It was so close to the university and so many restaurants and activities. We definitely recommend it!

I don’t think the listing is as up front about the size or style of this place. There are regular tenants, and then there are hotel guests. That doesn’t bother me, but because of this, we got a room on the highest floor, and parking on the lowest level. Balcony views are currently obscured due to construction directly across the street. Rooms are incredibly small, with Murphy beds, and sinks in the main area rather than the bathroom. However, there was lots of storage, and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed NYE and were within walking distance to Cazuela’s, some excellent Mexican food. We returned from festivities around 1:30 am. About four rooms in our hall had doors constantly opening and slamming shut, with college kids kicking and punching the doors, shouting, and running up and down the hall. I called the front desk, and the man working was very receptive and had told me he had just come up to speak with them due to another complaint, and was giving them a few minutes to see if it will settle before taking more formal action. Very thankful for the attentiveness. Due to the proximity of the hotel to campus and the bar scene, I’m sure that’s more their age and interests of guests. Would stay again, but probably not on a major drinking holiday.

The rooms were small but nice. My room was the size of a dorm room. Perfect for college kids or visiting parents.

In town for a family event, we were looking for something affordable and conveniently located downtown...our room was clean and comfortable with a modern, quirky atmosphere...would definitely stay there again!

This property is great if you are traveling to Columbus to party with college kids and go out to the bars. If you’re looking for a quiet stay, this is not it. Music blasted from rooms until 5am…not kidding. Parking garage was not clearly labeled or marked where you were supposed to park. It’s a cute place and very trendy, but this is not what we needed for our stay. We will stay elsewhere if we return to Columbus.
