SpringHill Suites Columbus OSU

Enjoyed my King bed suite with separate sitting area that can accommodate young children. Nice design elements in the room with separate sink and shower room and a toilet and another sink room. Glow in the dark light switches add convenience as well as a refrigerator and microwave bar area. Plus the toilet flushes like a rocket and the heating and air unit actually functions well!

Great place for families!

So... a couple of issues. The pool was overly saturated with chlorine. I mean eyes burning, nose hairs singed. I wasn't even in the water, and my eyes burned. My kids were in for 15 minutes, and I asked them to get out bc the fumes seemed unsafe. Defiantly needed to reshower to get that off their skin. As soon as we leave the pool area, all you can smell is chlorine in your nose. Like working with bleach in a unvented area. Breakfast was a regular basic continental. Hot frozen sausage patties and hard-boiled eggs were the closest one could get to hot foods. They did have prewrapped, premade burritos and breakfast sandwiches. A guy in the lobby that turned out to be a loiter. I realized when he didn't have a key card to reenter the building after hours then proceeded to ask me for .85 cent, then a $1. All in all, I've paid cheaper prices for the same basic amenities in other places in the US. Overpriced and over hyped bc of the OSU area.

Breakfast was great on the weekend with eggs etc. we had a prolonged stay do to hospitalization of family member… not even having hot eggs during the week was disappointing… otherwise good hotel

Great place to stay while a family member was having surgery at OSU Hospital. Staff was friendly and hotel was comfortable and clean. Great location with good restaurants nearby also.

We liked that we could sit in the lobby with our grandkids at a table and play cards! We liked the bar idea. Breakfast was good.

Great location, very clean and family friendly.

We checked in Friday evening, there were kids running all over the hotel, they were playing in the fitness room and in the pool area without any supervision. The kids were running up and down the hallways and banging on doors until 1:00 am (same activity occurred Saturday night). Saturday finally got to sleep around 1:30 am due to the noise outside our room again only to be woken by people outside yelling and at one point either the police or security showed up with a bull horn telling the people to get inside. When reported to the front desk at check out the guy said we've had several complaints but didn't apologize or offer any discount.

That check in staff was great, he kept my kids laughing! The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great and the checkout staff was very kind. Our only issue was the pool, it was heated so it was far too cold to swim.

Staff was nice and helpful! Room was perfect and we loved trundle bed option! Pool was good size for our little family and breakfast had good options!
