They gave me a room right off the lobby and it was incredibly noisy. The beds were tiny and the bathroom was old. For a three and a half star hotel it was sub par. My kids slept terrible between the tiny bed and the noise.

This is really amazing hotel!! Very lovely and antique atmosphere ans I'm pretty sure you will be overwelmed. My family is traveling to DC from Atlanta during the spring break, and Winstern salem is the middle of our road trip and we stay here each one night on the way. This is not just inn, you should drop this city and stay here and feel whole warm, cozy, quiet but lively mood of this city through this hotel. Room is spacious, breakfast is wonderful, and free beer, and cookie and milk is also great. And Sally.. adorable. They offer very high speed wifi, so my kid could participate her live online class very well!! I definetely recommend this hotel to all :)

My family and I had an amazing 3 night stay. The facility was clean and the staff was amazing. Our room was everything we needed and wanted it to be. The pictures on the site did it justice for sure. I highly recommend staying here to anyone passing through. The cookies and milk at night was the perfect touch to the whole experience.

The staff was very helpful. My kids loved the cookies and milk served at bedtime. It was very convenient to get to Wake Forest where we were touring with our high school senior.

This is an incredibly charming hotel. We travel often but usually stay at Marriot, Holiday or Hilton. We took a chance on this and are so glad we did. It was such a great escape from the usual chain hotels. We had a 2 queen room and it was a huge space with a full size table & chairs, wardrobe, closet, dresser, lounge chair, iron and board, mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig with kcups and large bathroom. Free bottled water in the room. Included free wine and cheese 5-7pm, free cookies and milk 8-9pm and free breakfast buffet with plenty of hot and cold selections. The entire building has so much character. Everything was immaculately cleaned. No cobwebs in the rafters of the ceilings, no dust on the sils or blinds, wood floors felt clean, linens were fresh. Staff was pleasant including the adorable resident cat, Sally. The outside grounds were just as charming as the inside with lovely courtyards that were softly lit at night. Parking was free and easy. I was nervous to book this since it didnt have a pool and wasnt sure how the kids (13 &10) would like it but they loved this place!! The only issue we had which really wasnt an issue is that the ice machine was either out or not working. Also, i think the beds may actually have been full size and not queen. Highly recommend. Try it out - you wont be disappointed.

We stayed at the Historic Brookstown Inn as it was close to Wake Forest Hospital and we unfortunately had a family member there. We picked the hotel as it appeared more homey and comfortable and quite frankly just what we needed given the circumstances. It was just perfect. Super friendly staff, large clean comfortable rooms, walking distance to a few really nice restaurants and we enjoyed the cookies and milk before turning in. Breakfast being included also made for a nice start to our days…. Definitely recommend!!!
