My stay was great my only complaint is that I did find two Palmetto Bugs (roach species) a baby and a really big one but other then that everything was great.

Checked in with 3 kids and the room was dirty, old, chopping floors and paint everywhere. Toilet ran all night. Marijuana smell was strong everywhere— smoking was clearly happening in the hotel and nothing was done about it. Would strongly not recommend!

Walked in to check in at the desk and there was definitely an "older" hotel odor. The receptionist was not at the desk and the lobby was dark and empty. We waited a couple of minutes and he came out of the back. We got our room keys and went to the room. Our reservation was non-refundable for $187. When we got to our room and opened the door, the odor got worse. In my ten years of experience as a REALTOR, that odor is mildew and mold activity. For $187, we are still in. The room was dark and felt very institutional, like a hospital room. As I left the living room area and went in the bedroom there were only the two nightstand lamps to light the whole bedroom. As I was checking out the bathroom, my 11 yo daughter called and said there was a bug on the wall. I grabbed some toilet paper and came to see a German cockroach crawling on the wall. Not a Palmetto bug. A Cockroach. As I chased it down the wall behind the dresser, I saw many other bug carcasses on the floor. I told the kids, gather your stuff. We went to the front desk, gave the tissue to the front desk clerk, who again was in the back, and let him know we can't stay here and why. I wish I had taken pictures. We went to the Garden Inn close by and had a phenomenal experience for $220/night.

Great and comfortable 2br suite for our family group of 6. The property was clean and quiet. The pool was a beautiful oasis. Great stay in Raleigh!

It was Close to many dining and shopping options so staying there without a car was easy. The kids enjoyed the pool and the staff was excellent to us while accommodating our arrival time and making sure we had everything we needed.

The hotel looks nice from the outside and the woman at the front desk was super helpful and soooo nice. The hotel inside seemed dirty and a garbage can right outside the lobby, close to the pool, was being overrun by squirrels which seemed odd. There was a terrible bleach stain on the carpet outside our room and the entire hotel needs some TLC. The marijuana smoke was unbearable and is becoming an issue more and more as we travel as a family. Totally have no issue with legal marijuana use but wafting underneath your door when you are with your wife and family is another matter entirely.

My family and I always enjoyed staying at Homewood suits. This stay was excellent and I would recommend this hotel to others. We looked forward to the dinner night but found out that this was changed to a social night, which we still enjoyed.
