Comfort Suites Pineville - Ballantyne Area

All rooms have pull out couches works great for a big family. We had two double beds and a pull out sofa. Free hot breakfast included and the property has an outdoor pool. Will stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The people at the front desk were great. One gentleman was training another. The man doing the training was so friendly and funny, so we felt right at home. I didn't get to talk to the guy he was training very much, but he was also very kind. I didn't give a full five stars due to a w minor inconveniences. The biggest inconvenience has to do with electrical stuff. The room phone didn't work so I couldn't call the front desk from the room. In addition to this, the outlets were quite worn out, so our chargers really struggled to stay in them. We have basic charging blocks, but they were still too heavy for the loose outlets. Thirdly, the bedside lamps would flicker quite a bit for long periods of time. Really not that big of a deal --except I had to convince my littles that the hotel wasn't *actually* haunted. The only other minor inconvenience was the main elevator going out. We were on the 5th floor and, while they did put an 'Out of Service' sign up, they didn't include any information about there being another elevator at the end of the building. They told me after I inquired about how long it would be until it would be in service again. So, those were the downsides, but the hotel felt very safe to me, it was clean and comfy. The pillows were fluffy and the beds were great. I slept like a baby. I would definitely stay again.

Police present late at night to evict a boisterous family. Very loud and rude. Staff should have moved them to the lobby for discussion. Not very clean in my opinion. Needs to be renovated. We were there from Friday to Sunday, the same cigarette butt stayed on the floor in the hallway the entire time in a non smoking hotel. Also a bag was placed over the smoke detector in our room. Staff wasn’t concerned about it at all. I do not recommend this hotel. At all.

Management worked with me and I appreciate that. But the 2nd floor rooms are dated and not kept up. Management says they are being refurbished. Great. But then don't put up guests / families in the lower-quality rooms. The room had a stained / old pullout mattress, a very uncomfortable bed box spring mattress, and very unclean kitchen area. Needs thorough updating.

The first night we arrived to our room the heat was not working, so the guest service moved us, he was very nice and polite about it. Got to the new room and there was roaches everywhere in behind the refrigerator, so n the cabinets and shelves n the bathroom. I asked the front desk for some spray because it was bad, immediately after I spray the roaches was coming out so bad. The toilet was backed up we had to go asked for a plugger at the front desk. I don’t sleep well because the roaches and I have small children with me. Glad to be out of there, I really need to be refunded. I only took a couple of pictures. The rooms are nasty and need to be clean, the housekeepers didn’t clean our room even when asked too, tub was nasty thank God I brought me own cleaning supplies.

I was unhappy with the conditions of the linens. The sheets were stained and the towels as well. The towels had areas which were hard not sure if they were burnt but they felt nasty. The room had a terrible odor to it the carpets looked dirty as well. If it had not been so late at night and my children weren’t so tired I would have left without the refund.

The mattress in the pull out couch could have better. Felt springs on my back all night. There was a lot of noise from kids playing in the hallway in the middle of the night Security is definitely needed at night. A/C extremely loud.

Visiting family in the area, we needed an inexpensive but decent place to stay between the two homes. The hotel is very convenient, right off 495, with plenty of shopping and eating options. Downtown Pineville (cute) is just down the road. Our stay was just fine - clean enough, enough space, breakfast was good and plentiful, the shower pressure was outstanding. But it's a hotel that could use a makeover - just a bit worn around the edges. Our air conditioner/heater was awfully loud, cycling on and off all night. But for the price....decent.

We were told there were no towels, therefore we were unable to shower!!! Both elevators broke down and my husband has a heart condition so we walked the fifth floor a dozen times with him hardly able to breathe. Loud kids all night. Weed smoking in our hall. Worst experience at a hotel I have had ever.
