The room was huge and clean , will stay here again. Breakfast was not too appetizing. Had to get real breakfast as my kids would not eat at the hotel. I did not like the soap dispensers in the bathroom, trying to her ehe body soap from containers was not easy. Other than that very clean and that’s what I like

We were there for a weekend family get together. The rooms were good & the general space was great. The weather wasn't good, so we stayed in. All 12 of us gathered in the lobby area played cards, shooting pool & had a lot of laughs. The staff was great, helpful, professional & friendly.

Had a great stay at Tru Vestal. Loved the room, decor and large area to relax with family on the main floor.

When I went to check in, my room had been given away to someone else . I was traveling alone with 2 teenagers and a 7 year old. They comped me TWO king rooms instead of one double. I did not sleep at all with my kids on the 3rd floor while I was on the first floor. The front desk mgr was very sorry and she did the best she could. All in all it was a good stay. Next time i will be sure to check in earlier

Ok I think I should get a refund for my stay. I stayed as my daughter was a proud graduate of Bing. I traveled with my two younger daughters and husband. In the middle of the night someone used a key and entered our room .. very scary for us all!!! It seems that the front desk gave the key to another traveler. This was not acceptable, The front desk blaming Expedia, my children do not want to stay in a hotel again as they were scared and frankly so was I . I would like a refund of some sort to make up for this error

My family and I drove from NYC, this drive is typically 3 1/2 - 4 hours long, and because it was a holiday weekend we decided to leave early. We arrive at the hotel around 11am and was informed by Front desk that check in was not available until noon. We left, did some driving, got lunch and returned about 12:30pm. Upon walking in Front desk agent asked that we allow her a few minutes to complete her check out, reception was empty and her airpod was in her ear, she was clearly on her cell phone. We sat and waited until we saw two couples arrived and she proceeded to check them in. Upon seeing this I made my way back to the desk asking why we were made to sit while the couples were able to check in. She got irritated and said because they were on line, I reminded her that she told us to wait. Being from the service industry myself, she was in the wrong and should not argue but apologize, she was unfazed by my comment and I decided to let it go and head up to my assigned room. Fifteen minutes after settling in a room attendant opened the door without knocking or announcing who she was, upon hearing the TV left without saying anything. The following morning, I called down asking to have a room attendant empty my trash and tidy my room, the same Front Desk agent told me the room attendants had a lot of rooms on their list and to my trash was overflowing for another day. While the facilities are nice, the staff needs to be trained as service was really lacking.

My family was in town for a banquet and we hooker four rooms at the hotel. We had a great time and loved being able to congregate and hang out in the lobby, which has games, a pool table, snacks and drinks. The only negative: Our room didn’t smell so great due to the shower drain. There wasn’t much we could do about it. There is a cute groundhog that lives on the property and my aunt had fun trying to get a glimpse of it.

Everything was fine except for the fact that people were carrying on in the hallway making a lot of noise. I know the hotel can’t control the behavior of the customers. But while I’m my room I can hear everything the people are saying next door because the adjoining door is not insulated or sound proof. The staff was friendly and tried to be accommodating which I appreciate. But I would only put families in adjoining rooms. I don’t want to hear the business of other people especially at 11-12 at night.
