Hotel Ithaca

Due to the room on top of us being extremely loud and like thumping on the ground of their room. We couldnt get any sleep and it started from like 6 am to 8 am. We also took voice recordings of how loud it was because we just werent able to sleep. But overall it was just incredibly noisy and none of our family members could sleep.

Had a wonderful weekend using Hotel Ithaca as our base. One family member attends Ithaca college, and another attends Cornell. This was perfectly situated between both, and was exceptionally clean and had self parking!

We stayed only for one night on 25th dec. It was quite and no many people. The pool water was cold and also the place . My kids took a cold the day after. The main leaving area was not appropriate to stay , to small and not even a christmas tree to support the mood.

I’ve been to Ithaca multiple times to visit family. This time was a special visit with my young children. We stayed at a hotel I’d been inside before in an area I’ve also been around. The room showed its age as did the area, we were completely unaware you had to ask for room service and only noticed they weren’t emptying the trash after a couple of our first days. The shower backed up and could use a good scrubbing. The toilet paper roll kept falling off the wall. I could have complained but had limited time in our schedule with visiting family and very young children so we tolerated it and counted down until we were ready to leave. My 4 year old kept telling me he wanted to leave the hotel but the beds were clean and we were safe so we just stayed. Will not stay here again. The staff was very polite when we got clarity room service should be requested but that was about it.

I stayed at this hotel while touring colleges with two teenagers. It was within what's considered "the college town" and was perfect for the kids and I to experience what they would be surrounded by if they chose one of Ithaca's college's. The only reason I gave it a 3 for cleanliness was there was a pair of dirty socks left from a previous traveler under the table. Other then that, it was perfect.
