HYATT house Fishkill/Poughkeepsie

We got a free upgrade at checkin to a two bedroom suite and we were granted early checkin at 1pm instead of 4pm. The front desk attendant was so sweet! The room is beautiful, the pool is perfect, and the hotel is very clean! I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to friends and family in the area. When I got to the room a lightbulb fell out of a lamp and shattered everywhere. I felt horrible. The front desk woman was so sweet about it and sent someone over within 5 minutes to vacuum. The man who came to vacuum didn’t seem happy with me, but I am so grateful to have had them act so quickly and help me since I have two young kids running around.

Wish i knew all of new englands baseball team would be there. Parents didnt watch their kids. They were super loud running all through the night playing on elevators.. good luck having used the pool or jacuzzi... parents were too busy drinking in the bar. Not ONE parent was watching the over 2 dozen kids... not ideal for the trip i had planned for my family

Perfect stay for the kiddos and I, on our way to PA

We needed a room for four, and we paid for a king suit, which had a king sized bed and a sofa bed for our kids to share. The room didn’t have any bedding on the pullout, and it only had two towels. When we called to ask for pillows and bedding for the pullout, first they couldn’t find pillows, and the blanket was so thin that my kids were freezing. Since getting the bedding at all was such a pain (attendant said they could t find pillows, but why not get them from one of the unbooked rooms? There were plenty), we only called down a few times. Never got the towels, kids had to sleep in their clothes. It seemed the attendant was young and handling things on her own, but not being able to get us enough bedding made for a crappy night. If you’re going to charge for a larger room, make sure it’s equipped so that everyone can be comfortable.

The staff was great and the rooms were clean & spacious. No fault of the hotel but the pool and jacuzzi was inindated with 15 kids each night.....no relaxing after a hard days work there but plenty of dinning options close by

Check in was great kids loved the pool only thing was my room smelling like weed and cig . But other the. That room was very clean and comfortable thank you

The front desk allowed us to check in early which was wonderful. However we had a pool day planned with family and they closed the pool 24 hours after we arrived.

Happy !! Staff very friendly and helpful !! Morning meals there was a great selection to choose from … for kids and the adults … There was a small leak of water in the bathroom by toilet area.. front desk was made aware upon arriving to room for first time !! When checking out front desk was made aware again of small leak in bathroom … Thank you !!

Every person on staff was kind and polite. The hotel was clean and new. Pool was nice for 2 little kids. Will stay there again!

Overall is a nice hotel worth friendly staff near hiking areas and to Beacon. However, during a day there the hot tub wasnt working and only partially fixed by staff and two nights after 9pm there was little kids screaming around 8 years old nonstop diving into the pool even though signs against diving. What would be helpful is a time period for adults only.
