Room was dirty. Faces a garbage plant that operates all night long! Asked for a quiet room upon checking in as it was for a senior and placed right above the garbage plant. Was promised a credit at checkout for the dirty room and noise by hotel staff. Didn’t receive it, so called back and was told there was no notes on my file so they couldn’t honour it. Awful customer service. Was told we could have moved in the middle of the night (I had a child in my room and my 75 year old father in another). Moving rooms at 2am isn’t convenient- but that’s their solution.

I was shocked at how wonderful this hotel is. We visit family in the Bronx and we're worried about safety and cleanliness-- but this property is great! We will return!

Rooms were really nice, though smaller than they appear online. Very new, so very nice. The frosted bathroom walls made it a bit weird. That's ok for rooms that are aimed at singles or couples, but a bunk bed implies child or otherwise related individual. My grown daughter and I thought it should be different. Lol. I went for a walk and thus saw a need for night time security of some sort. Not that I saw anything happen, but people unfamiliar with the area could be scared off by the dark, industrial surroundings. The staff were really helpful and friendly. I really would've given it 5 stars, but for the bathroom walls and lack of attention to entry sidewalk and adjoining areas. They should have a mural painted across from the entry on that big beautiful canvas. I saw they had Crash pieces throughout. A Wyndham piece painted by Crash would be quite the added attraction. I had forgotten he'd mentioned them in a post when they first opened. I just wish I'd spent more time there. Next time...though my bro is usually with me, he too will have something to say about the frosted bathroom walls. Lmao.

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights….Victor was very professional in checking us in….room was small but efficient…shower and bathroom surrounding was frosted, so it was visible to see inside with the naked eye….didn’t realize that each evening, the lobby and patio turned into a music fest which I could hear in my room….

The property is clean. It is close to a subway station. The staff was friendly. I would not bring a child to this hotel. There is a party going on that you have to walk through in order to get on the elevator almost every day. You have no access to ice.

Hotel was nice overall. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond in giving helpful information to get around New York (Victor?).
The rooms are small but cozy. Everything we needed was perfectly placed in the room.
The breakfast was filling for us. We were downstairs about 8am each day and got a nice assortment of items.
We felt the music in the lounge was a little too loud for the day time and understand why some people would have a problem with the crowd that comes at night. I just wouldnt stay here with my family for that reason but other than that the happy hour scene didn't bother us.
It was conveniently located near the subway so it made travel very easy. We only used the subway except for 1 dinner.
A very urban vibe to the place but it gives off a feel that all are welcomed by the staff

It was a great stay overall. The rooms are very tight, small space so dont recommend for big families. The rooms were clean. The only issue we experienced was the halls smelled so much of marijuana. But, other then that great stay, great staff.

A clean place to sleep, but checking in was horrible- the woman couldn’t figure out what the issue was. The only way to my room was through the restaurant which was super inconvenient and crowded, every night. My key card kept deactivating, i had to leave my tired kids in front of my room and go downstairs and back through the party restaurant to fix my key. Next time I’ll pay more to stay in the city.

I have stayed at this property a couple times now and Jimena and her staff are amazing. This was the first time it was a family trip. My daughter loved the bunk bed room.
Every morning the breakfast offering is good. No frills, there are cereals, pastries, love the yogurt parfaits, coffee and juice - just enough to not let you go hungry and start your day.
The property is very clean. There is always someone tiding up. Rooms are maintained well by the cleaning ladies and if you don’t always get service (by choice) - you can always get new towels or soap etc with one call downstairs.
The location outside looks run down but was pretty safe. Transportation is easy, 30 min or less from LaGuardia and the closest subway is 1 block away, next one is two blocks away.
The staff are exceptional. Whatever you need - they are available and solve your issue ASAP. Christina and Valentina are super friendly and welcoming when you check in. Joselei and Victor take over and ensure you’re taken care of for the eve and late at night you can rely on Natasha to greet you and ensure you’re good before turning in. 24/7 everyone is accommodating and friendly.
Security is always there - Phil, Naz and the other evening guard are super friendly and keep the hotel safe.
Rosas at the park is the resto downstairs open 3-7 but have brunch offerings on weekend has great food, good staff and it gets pretty busy here with customers and music.
Looking forward to next stay.

I have visited NYC many times and had never considered staying in the Bronx. I can now say that this will be our go to hotel from now on.
Like all of the other reviews, I agree, the staff is wonderful..from the front desk, the housekeeping staff, the restaurant and even the parking. Kudos to whoever has created that positive work culture!
The hotel is spotless.
Yes, the rooms are a bit on the small side, but it is a very new hotel and the rooms have a ton of modern touches to make it easy to stay organized and comfortable in the space. The hotel is located in an area that is under some redevelopment, so don’t be turned away by some of the reviews referring to the location. You are literally a few steps from the train which we took at all hours of the day and night (with kids) and had a great experience. The hotel has excellent security and a great (although lively!) restaurant. We had a car, but just kept it parked due to the proximity and convenience of the train.
This place has everything you need for a comfortable and fun stay in NYC!
