The Hotel Santa Fe has been my family’s first choice for lodging in Santa Fe for almost 20 years. The location is great, the staff are courteous and helpful, and the rooms are cozy, clean, and quiet. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to spend some time in New Mexico’s capital city.

Nice hotel with great restaurant on site. Worked well for a family trip, and would probably be a great couples location.

Beautiful hotel with a good restaurant, nice pool. They have a Native American flute player on Thursday nights who is amazing. It’s nice to have a free shuttle with friendly shuttle drivers. My family enjoyed our stay.

Hotel Santa Fe was adorable and we would absolutely stay there again. The staff and shuttle service were excellent. We visited when it was still very cold so the grounds looked a bit wintery but I bet they look great in spring and summer. The lobby and common areas are very charming and interesting. The bar and restaurant situation looked very good. Rooms are cute but the double beds are true small doubles so it was a bit tight for a family of 4. This was a last minute overnight for us but I’m glad we found it! I’d love to visit again and check out the spa.

Great location and I liked the junior suite better than staying at other hotels in Santa Fe. It was roomy and up in the trees. There aren’t a lot of trees in SF so it’s vert special. I was first given a room on the first floor. Although I wasn’t crazy being on the first floor, I stayed until there was something wrong with a vent or some loud banging sound during the evening. I went to the desk at 5 AM and they couldn’t help me until the regular staff came in at 7:30 AM. I was able to change my room up to the third floor. Evening music was delightful. And overall it was a nice day.

Very nice hotel over all! Rooms are clean and nice, pool not to big but large enough for the kiddos to have fun.
The restaurant seems a bit pricey. $6 for a couple of sausage links or a small piece of ham at breakfast in addition to the $14 for a couple of pancakes or a single avocado toast (and the addnl $6 is not even listed, the waiter just askes you if you want sausage or ham with your breakfast, so you assume it is included in the $14)!!

We are a couple traveling with my mom (86 yrs old) and two kids (3 and 9 yrs old) , because of that we ask for two room next to each other. The check in process took long time, finally when they gave us our keys, one room was with people inside, politely we apologized which them and stay in our other room, meanwhile my husband went to the front desk, obviously my kids needs to pee after a long trip, and we use the room bathroom. My husband spent around 20 minutes and he returned with a front desk lady to check the room. She check the room and explained to us the make a mistake with the other room assigned to another person, but since we use the bathroom they cannot have us rooms together, we stay on the second floor and my mom and one of the kids on the first floor. That was ridiculous, I was running from first to second floor bathing the kids, hemolinfa my mom. That was insane after a long trip going to one room yo another like that just because my kids pee. I hope at least an explanation for this hotel

We LOVED our stay here... lovely place with great public areas as well as our perfect room. We were here to visit family for a memorial service and would love to return for just some super tourist time. Really hospitable staff.

Our family of 4 has stayed here many times over the last 6 years. Each time we return, it has become a little more tired. We had to move our room (which the front desk was happy to do, but the manager pushed back on) because the sink did not drain at all. It was gross. There were multiple long hairs around the bathroom and when we moved rooms, same thing was present, hair, and general tired, crusty feel of hotel, as if it is not being maintained. I could have overlooked a lot of these minor flaws, however, in a day when everything costs more and we all feel pinched, hospitality is going a little farther to make us feel happy to travel and dine out. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE HERE. Hotel Santa Fe charges as much as ever, still requires a resort fee nightly, and yet DOES NOT CLEAN THE ROOMS! We are a family of four for the 3 nights, a room needs freshening, towels, trash removed, a vacuum. We pay for that, it is unacceptable. But I noticed this stuck-in-pandemic regressive vibe all over the city of Santa Fe. It was depressing, we burnt rubber leaving that town.
