MCM Elegante Lodge & Suites Ruidoso

We have been at MCM Elegante many times in Fathers with all the family. We usually play gold 2 days and have a big barbeque on Saturday evening in the Grills at the Lodge. We never had a problem bringing in beer and wine. This year a Loud Lady came out and started yelling at us that we couldn't have any of our own alcohol outside. That we could only drink any alcohol we purchased from her. She was loud and disrespectful. I understand if they change their policy (10 Year Policy), it's OK, just let us know in advance so we do not spent money before and during the celebration. We purchased the alcohol from her and never live her a tip and it got worst. Complaining to anyone that arrived at the bar about us, and making up lies about us being disrespectful of her, when it was the other way around. It was a very unpleasant visit. I think we need to start looking for a new place to spend father's day.

My family and I were blown away by Ms. Ruthie's professionalism and attentiveness; she was very sweet. The breakfast chefs, Carmen and Mr. Farmer were top notch and made sure my family and I were satisfied with our food. On top of that, they even bought my baby boy a birthday cake to celebrate my babies 13th birthday. I've never felt more love from complete strangers than I did staying here. The only thing I was extremely disappointed in was the receptionist with the red/pink hair at the front desk; she was EXTREMELY RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL. She told me very rudely " I'll get to you when I get to you!" Other than that, I would highly recommend this resort.

Great location, breakfast was food, grandkids enjoyed the heated pool, couches were outdated,A little uncomfortable but over all enjoyed the stay

It's a nice hotel we had a good stay with family, the Breakfast is really good, only thing that the price per night was little high !!!

Property was dirty and run down. So disappointed with our stay. We found used bandaids and needles in our room. Will be in contact with upper management since the front desk was unable to assist. Our toddler was with us. Will never stay or recommend.

We enjoyed our stay the location was great and family friendly. The staff was courteous and helpful. The property was very nice and the room was comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom caulking around tub/shower needed to be replaced.

The breakfast buffet was generous and well prepared. There were ample tables and seats, and the lobby was comfortable as well. Staff interactions were positive and welcoming. Beds comfy, toilet commodes need replacement (child size) Towels and showers were very good condition

We were really pleased with this resort. Made to order egg breakfast. I had double meat omelette. Rooms were clean and the bathroom hot tub jacuzzi was huge. Pool and hot tub were a hit with my kids

We drove 12 hours from Houston with our children to give them a decent winter vacation experience. Upon check-in, the room wasn't clean. The trash wasn't taken out from previous room stay. The bathroom sink didn't drain. All of which really upset my wife A LOT. I then went down to the desk. Very politely described the issues. The lady at the desk said she's sorry but they're understaffed. I said I understand. That's ok. What about upgrading the room? She said it would be $30 additional per night taxes and fees on top of what I've already paid. I said fine, no problem. Let's do it. Just to give my family a good experience. The next morning I requested that the room be cleaned and bathroom be cleaned pleased. Lady at the desk said no problem, wrote down the room #, 327. We returned from White Sands in the evening to find nothing had been cleaned. My wife and I said fine, no problem. We'll request tomorrow. Today, we explained the situation at the desk in the morning, again requested that it be cleaned. We returned exhausted in the evening. Again, nothing cleaned. My wife went straight down and politely made another request. Gentleman said of course, it'll be taken care of right away. We stepped out to give the house keeping staff some room. We returned 2 hours later. Only to find that she had only replaced the towels in the bathroom and taken the old ones away. No cleaning to room. No making the bed. No taking the trash. No cleaning the kit
