Mariner Inn

This was our second time here over all it’s always clean and perfect location . Two things this time was that I booked through hotel .com . I was charged full amount instead of the deposit at the hotel . Also the night before there was a few teenagers that jumped in the pool at 2 am and used our towel that was on the balcony drying it woke me up . My kids were asleep so it was me and I woke my husband to check it out . Other than that I guess that was the worst .

We loved the double bunk beds our kids loved it also

The photos online were very deceiving. We had the family bunk room which sounds large but is your standard room with a bunk above the queen beds. You do not get any room cleaning or items daily unless you ask. The proximity to the beach and restaurants was nice.

Pool table on second floor pool area was nice with boogey boards for the kids really nice place

Very nice, clean and upgraded hotel in a fantastic location...right at a lifeguard stand for the beach which was perfect for kids. Also close to breakfast/lunch options (Spray Beach Bagel/Deli was delicious! and across the street from ship bottom ice cream. Convenient and free parking too Nice pool/beach amenities of chairs and boogie boards available. Beds were comfy and balcony was lovely. Took off stars bc our refrigerator didn't work, also the hotel does not have an ice machine nor fill stations which was inconvenient being at the beach. Also, towels for the pool were not readily accessible, we had to find someone to ask for extra towels. Overall not things that would prevent us from coming back as we really enjoyed the hotel.

I was on the second floor where the pool table is and tons of young kids would gather there yelling and making so much noise!

Upon check in I was told there I had bo reservation. Even though I had to pay in full at time of booking. Then I’m told someone checked into my room. Then I’m told they have to give me a new room. I’m given Boulevard view although I paid for pool view. Next morning I can’t get into my room after coffee . They say we only activate your key for one. Ughh but I’m a 2 night stay. Then I can’t get new keys bc the system doesn’t work. I had to leave a family function to come get keys before the night staff leaves and no one at the front desk. Room wasn’t clean as there was dirty water bottle and alcohol can on the floor in corner. Zero apologies Still waiting on a refund since I paid for something I didn’t stay in. They just said deal with Expedia that’s who you booked through. Awful and now Expedia not doing anything about it. Let’s see what happens in next few days

I liked the proximity to the beach and family members staying at rental houses. We had trouble with plumbing. We had trouble getting into the hotel at night. Had to use the key about 20 times before the doors would finally unlock.
