We booked a room for two adults and two children. Ages were stated in the booking. Younger child is one. When we asked for a crib we were told that we would have to upgrade our room to a more expensive suite in order to have a place for the baby to sleep. It was 10PM and we were already there. We did not have much of a choice so we were forced to pay about 100$ more, in order to get a pack and play.

We only stayed one night but it was a great stay, very comfortable beds, plenty of room for us - 2A and 2 kids 10 & 13. The breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommended if you need to stay near Newark Airport.

Nice hotel super close to airport but what made this place was the customer service. A++ Went beyond to try and help me find a gluton free pizza for on of our family members. Rooms were big, comfortable and cool, we loved it and will be back.

As always, it was very clean and comfortable. Staff was welcoming. My only disappointment was the title to airport. I’ve stayed at Hilton at airport and their shuttle drops us off at airport terminal specific to our airline. This one dropped us off a the tram depot. Mind you we had 2 children (1 and infant) a 4 bags, a stroller and a car seat. Expecting to be dropped off at the terminal able to use a porter, this was disappointing.

We were a family of 3 - Mother, Daughter, and 7 yr old Grandson. We had reserved 3 seats on the 4AM airport shuttle and requested a wake up call at 3AM. At 3:40 we were awaiting the elevator but it wasn't working. We called the Front Desk to request assistance and they told us there was no assistance available and we would have to carry all of our luggage down 7 flights of stairs. It was brutal and as a hotelier myself, I couldn't understand how an "Airport Hotel" had no luggage assistance...especially with the elevator out of service. That was the first issue....
When we finally drag our heavy luggage down to the lobby and walk out to our shuttle we're informed the shuttle only has room for one more person and that we would have to wait for the 4:30. We inquire into why we lost our seats since it was only 3:50AM and we had reserved them upon checking in (and they knew we were lugging our luggage down the stairs already)..we are told that guests who missed their 3:30 shuttle hopped on the shuttle scheduled for 4AM and took our seats. Wow....
Feeling frustrated we decide that a hot cup of coffee would help a lot but when I take a sip it is cold. How, at 4AM when a myriad of guests are all just waking up and heading to the airport tired and grumpy, do you not have fresh hot coffee brewing???? I informed the front desk and they inform me there is nothing they can do...pfft. Never again will I stay here nor recommend it.

This was a convenient and respectable property to meet with and spend the night with family before cruising from Cape Liberty. Clean and comfortable with a pleasant staff.

This was my worst hotel experience EVER. Not kidding. Terribly noisy, was woken several times at 1-2 am by clanking banging noises, apparently the room was under a gym. They said why didn't I ask at 2 am to switch rooms. Perhaps because I really needed to get sleep--& if they had other rooms WHY PUT ME IN THAT ROOM which has to be known to be awful when there were other rooms available.
But the real kicker, because I was exhausted from terrible sleep, I forgot critical medicine in the fridge. Replacement costs $1200-1500 depending on insurance. The person cleaning the room found the medicine (in manufacturer's box with prescription label) in an open insulated bag, & threw it and my ice blocks away. The hotel said well they did not want the liability of holding on to the medicine. I said it was CRITICAL medicine why didn't you at least call me. I had hours at the airport to wait, I would've gone back for it. This is my fundamental health after all.
The response, when they finally admitted no they did not even try to call, was "if we called every time someone forgot their medicine we'd be on the phone all day." So to be clear--this place has absolutely no interest in taking care of their guests. They will not take the smallest action to address what can obviously be seen as a critical issue for their guests. I can not recommend Hilton properties at all. And by the way the hotel offered NOTHING to help deal with the expense of desperately trying to replace the medicine.
