Hilton Garden Inn Ridgefield Park

Stayed while visiting family. Staff very helpful with my belongings when I checked out. I'll be back again.

The entrance staff is simply amazing! Thank you so much for the advices and help in many ways. It was hard to get enough towels for the family and the hot tub was broken, but the hotel was clean, not noisy nor overcrowded, and could order from restaurants if needed food.

There was rude staff that continued to disrespect my children. The room was dirty the first day we arrived like glass or stone on the bed and things under the bed. They also said they offer breakfast when I booked the reservation than told me breakfast is extra when I arrived.

We had a lovely stay. The air conditioner was quite noisy and the bathroom fan didn't work most days and was falling off of the wall. The pool heater wasn't working on our last night there so the kids couldn't swim. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Would definitely recommend putting enough towels for guests booked in the room. There were only 2 towels for 4 people. We picked more up at the desk, but they should be already supplied.

Lobby was great, great food options for breakfast and dinner. Room was spacious and comfortable for my family. The only downsides were that the wall AC remote wasn’t working and that it smelled like cigarettes as soon as we walked in.

I didn't like that they only left an apology because their staff was short and they couldn't clean my room. I was with two children and I needed new towels and I was tired to go down and look for them. I didn't like that breakfast had to be paid separately for individual service. , and I didn't like that at the entrance there was a bad smell that came from somewhere but it was ugly

The experience at the hotel really ruined an otherwise nice family vacation. The staff at the hotel is aweful. We sat around for almost 2 hours after traveling all day and our room was over an hour late for our check in. 1 person servicing the front desk thankfully speaks english but barely has enough time to deal with any issue or request. They won't give enough towels for the pool, which was rat packed- when you'd ask for TOWELS they brought another 4 for the pool area shelf and you'd have to run and grab them before the other people who also need towels did- Never mind getting a new set of towels for your room! The room was far from clean. My fridge broke day 1. Hich they replaced. Who knows if ill be charged. Still yet to see. There's no bar or resteraunt, it's a breakfast a la carte type stand? Which is run so poorly- their server is a miserable man who can barely speak/ understand english. Also open only until 10am and an adult has to go down so don't try to allow your kids to go get something. They'll tell you after they cook your a la carte item that they don't have bacon or homefries but "you got extra sausage." Which they will also charge you for despite it not even tasting good enough for the dog and you specifically said you didn't like. I also told the unpleasant server that I'd bring it up with the hotel as he asked me to but he followed me tho the desk infront of lobby of guests and yelled over me in broken English so i couldnt even solve my issue at the front

The stay at the Garden Inn was good, easy check in process. We were disappointed to find out the pool was closed for maintenance, one of the main reasons we picked the hotel. We were happy to learn that the pool did open a bit later however the chlorine was so strong it triggered my sons asthma, made the kids and my husbands eyes itch and sting so wish they wouldn't have opened it or given a disclosure about it. Otherwise the staff was great, room was clean and beds were comfortable.

It was a very nice hotel. I was disappointed by the fact that I was not able to use the pool and hot tub. I booked this specific hotel so my children would have something to do during the day before we had to leave for an event. It was a boring day sitting in the hotel.

The staff and the property was very nice. Great to have breakfast options with little kids and about 7 minutes from American Dream depending on traffic.
