We tried something new as opposed to one of the downtown casinos to visit family. Other than a rude female front desk clerk at check-in, it was an enjoyable visit. The room was large and clean although it was like going back in time and we felt like we were in the late 80's with the huge oak bedroom set. Bathroom was adequate. Parking is secure altho a bit odd. It was close to the things we needed to go to. Will stay here again.

We travelled to Reno to visit family and this place was above my expectations. The staff takes pride in the cleanliness and comfort for the guests. The location is convenient and a short walk to the park as well as being close to downtown. They offer secure parking,a heated pool and a lounge that with good coffee and a sun deck to look out over the city. Not what I expected from a hotel in Reno but pleasantly surprised.

Good location. 5 mins away from the National Automobile museum and the Discovery museum. Lots of food choices nearby. Free, secured parking. They put a $75 hold for a clicker which isn’t a big deal. Price was reasonable. I booked thru Hotels.com. Room was good size. We got a king with sofa bed. Excellent view of the mountains. Furniture was dated but it had a fridge and a microwave which is great when travelling with kids. They had a keurig too which I prefer over the old coffee machines. Crib was in the room when we got there which is nice. Bathroom looks newer and clean. Plenty of storage for our clothes, etc. Staff was friendly and responsive. We requested additional towels and it was delivered in less than 5 minutes. My kid enjoyed the heated pool on the 7th floor. They had a mini fitness center too. We didnt get to try “Thirsty’s” but heard good things about it. We were given coupons which is nice. Minus one star for the dirty carpet which needs to be replaced or deep cleaned. Other than that, would recommend this place.

Make sure to know which your reserved room is because when I checked in I was told will get similar room I asked why the attendant said so many reasons like I have been assigned wrong room, it is not cleaned by the house keepers. went out to discuss with family and he said I am ok and can get my assigned room and the he said sorry and finally gave me a new room not the assigned room which made me uncomfortable at all.

The rooms reminded us of our parents house. The lobby is very comfortable and feels like a family living room. The employees are awesome, nice and helpful. The area is definitely a downtown location but our family from other hotels, said we had a safer entrance. No squatters in front of hotel or down the street. No recycling trash cans in the room was a bummer.

We just stayed for one night as a pit stop during a road trip. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. We had one issue. Across the street there is an open market and they had a live band playing. It was SO LOUD that it was as if the band was in our room! We were even on the 14th floor! We had to get up early to continue traveling so it made for a very long night especially with our 2 children. We had to download a noise app on our iPad so we could sleep. I know it’s Reno and the night life is the whole experience. I just wish we could have had a room that didn’t have a live band included.
