What an AMAZING place! Alfred was so kind and helped us figure out everything. Our two fur babies were welcomed, the room was clean, staff was extremely friendly and parking was easy. This place is perfect in my eyes!
Great job Magnolia, we’ll be back!

The hotel gives the impression to be very clean and nice. They also announce their cookies at 8 pm. However… once you get to the room it doesn’t feel clean at all. The bathroom we had had hairs on the drain so you could see them if water hit them. My concern with a baby was he likes to crawl around and the floor looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for a WHILE.

The hotel itself was nice/clean and the rooms were beautiful but I was disappointed in my family’s stay; we actually checked out a day early and went home early because we were so disappointed in the service. We opted for a hotel instead of an Airbnb like we usually do when we travel so we had the benefit of housekeeping. During our two night stay (paid for three) we requested housekeeping three times to empty trash and remove dirty towels and bring in fresh ones and house keeping didn’t come ONCE! To make matters worse I requested them in the morning as we left for our outings for the day so they could take care of it while we were out. We traveled with a toddler so our trash can was full of dirty diapers and snack wrappers, I tried not to be a bother so we just packed up and went home instead of dealing with it for another night. The only praise I have for the service was the shuttle drivers who took us to and from the zoo so we didn’t have to mess with parking! Speaking of parking…be prepared to pay for parking, the street parking is metered or you can pay to park at the hotel. The WiFi also went out the second night and that upset our toddler who really wanted to watch Cars.

I was looking forward to staying at the Magnolia based on their online images and reviews. Unfortunately, our first impression was not great. We arrived at 3:50pm to check in and were told our room was not available and to come back later. We were traveling with a toddler and there's no free street parking. So we loaded back up and drove around, came back 20 min later and we could check in. The front desk also let homeless people wander inside the hotel with a lobby full of guests checking in. When we got to our room, there was no soap in the bathroom, ants in the bathroom and under nightstand, and the blinds had a tear and broken piece. We tried eating breakfast in the restaurant and there was only 2 people working. Long wait and food was not worth the prices and didn't come as described. Our kid's pancakes came out with a hair on top. All around, just not great. I'm being generous with 2 stars.

I found the staff extremely friendly and helpful.
My family stayed here several years ago for a wedding. I was so happy to stay here again.

Odd the charged addition money for a microwave. Even when you stay in a nicer room it wasn’t included. We need it to warm baby milk and heat up baby food. So I would stay there again.

We arrived at 2:15 a.m. on a Friday, and luckily there was someone at the front desk to help us. I was a little disappointed when I walked in the room, as it was not as fancy as it looked in the pictures online. There was a tiny table on each side of the bed that was only big enough to fit the lamp and your cellphone. The room telephone was sitting at the bottom of the tiny table, which is not a great location when you have a toddler. The TV and remote control were outdated. The floors were dusty, so you had to walk with your shoes inside the room; otherwise, your feet would get dirty. There was no functional furniture to store your clothes. No USB ports were available. No bathroom fan There is no coffee maker in the room. The cleaning service never once entered the room to clean or provide new towels during our three-night stay, but we did not bother to contact them as we were too busy exploring the city. There is no swimming pool, and breakfast is not included. Location was the only great thing about this hotel, but I’m pretty sure there are other hotels in the area that offer superior amenities and have up-to-date features.

Beautiful historic hotel, amazing service and the most dog friendly hotel I’ve ever been to. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Wanted to stay in the downtown Omaha area for a long weekend with our family. We chose the Magnolia for its proximity to the Old Market as we did not want to have to use our cars to get around. The staff was extremely helpful, hotel was clean and the restaurant was nice. Also really appreciated the gated in parking rather than trying to find our own or continually pay a meter. Would definitely stay here again as the hotel is great and we could walk to the old market area in 5 minutes or so.
