The Summit Hotel at Big Sky Resort

For the first time ever, I got a room with a Murphy Bed. The pleasure of paying over $600 per night for a Murphy Bed cannot be understated. It looks like the room was designed to be a 1 for a family rather than a real hotel room. In fact, I had a bird's ear view to both the conversation happening in the next room and the kids knocking on my door on the adjoining room. It was an exceptional disappointment. As in "this is one of the absolute worst hotel experiences I can ever remember" disappointed. On a Tuesday! If I should ever return to the Summit, I will be sure to make sure I do not get a room with a bed that folds down from the wall. Be sure to do the same. All that said, the setting and staff were lovely. They brought this review up from 1 star to 3. Overall, it was a MASSIVE disappointment.

Cannot say enough about Summit at Big Sky. The photos didn’t do it justice. We loved the proximity to the ski lifts and ease of rental equipment. The breakfast was great, and the whole family enjoyed the indoor/outdoor spa/pool. Would stay here again! Highly recommend.
