Many reviews I read stated this place was OK but the price was on the high side. I would agree. It was clean and in a great location. The rooftop pool is nice and heated but was small and did have splashing kids every time we went. The rooftop bar is also nice. The rooms are clean but small, the bathrooms are laid out nicely with good water pressure in the shower. First impression was not good. We got in late, pulled up to valet but no one came out. So we found a small attached parking lot that had a 2 hour limit. Hauled our bags in (and up a flight of stairs to the lobby) without an offer of assistance. Asked the night team about places for parking and got the answer of "we valet for $40" repeatedly and quite rudely. We were just asking about other options, I realize the hotel wants it's valet money but man there are nicer ways to answer the question. In the room, we could hear loud coughing through the vents, apparently confirmed covid in 2 rooms, but we were assured each room has its own filter. I'll say the hotel is nice enough and we had pleasant interactions with staff after that first night. But it is wildly expensive for what you get. Add in $40 a night for parking (no close options for lots or garages we could find) and a $35 a night "amenity" fee (for... The pool I guess??) and you're looking at over $500 a night. This is not worth that. I've stayed in big name luxury hotels that are 100% nice for less. Your Mileage may vary.
