Holiday Inn Express & Suites Nevada, an IHG Hotel

I always stay here when I visit my daughter & grandchildren. Staff is slways polite & the rooms are clean & excellent breakfast! The indoor pool is always nice!

I had booked a suite for my mother, teenage son and myself. We checked in and were given keys to the room. When we opened the door we were sure the desk clerk had made a mistake because this "suite" was only one room with 2 beds and a sofa bed crammed into one small space. We went back to the desk and asked for a suite. We were then informed that this is what the Holiday Inn Express and Suites calls a suite. According to the Merriam Webster dictionary a suite "consists of a group of rooms in a hotel that is used by one person, couple, family, etc.". Having worked in hotels for 23 years I know that this is the definition used by hotels and travelers worldwide. Now the best part. We were charged for the first night even though they did not have the room type we had reserved. Fortunately we were able to find an actual suite in a hotel nearby.

This hotel very close to interstate 49 but far enough away to not be bothered with road noise. The Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful to our needs. Major shopping facilities just off hotel property, refueling and convenience store also close by. Enjoyed relaxing at indoor pool, pool area very clean and towels for guests readily available. Our family had a wonderful time and will do it again when the situation arises.

The hotel was updated, clean, and very nice for being in a rural area. The mattress was a little springy and left my wife and I with sore backs, but our kids didn't seem to mind.
