Lamplighter Inn and Suites

No extra pillows or pullout couch. Staff was not helpful was very unwilling to help when I asked. The breakfast was not worth it had to go down to McDonalds for breakfast and spend extra money to feed my family! I will never stay here again.

While checking in the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We were pleased with the cleanliness, comfort and accommodations with this little motel. Definitely recommend it for parents or families needing a place to stay while visiting their college student or during a weekend ball tournament!

There were some loitering kids hanging around but that was no huge deal. Overall it was pretty good. I was surprised that the breakfast buffet had no tea bags even though they had hot water. No big deal. I would stay again and remember to bring my own tea.

This hotel was chosen based off reviews and photos on the website. After 11 hours on the road, we arrived and was told our room wasn’t ready. Staff seemed to offer no apology. There was a hot tub, but was empty with the exception of about 2 inches of water and was a breeding ground for mosquitoes. On Saturday, we had to wait for the pool to be cleaned before we could use it. The pool man/bartender was apologetic for the condition. Our room was in terrible shape. It smelled horribly musty and seemed damp. Curtains were ripped, carpet was old and nasty. Walls were marked with God knows what! The ONLY reason we stayed is because other families stayed here as well. The bar was opened for about an hour, so there’s that. Would have been nice to Hansen able to have cocktails with family. On a positive note the air conditioning was cold and the sheets were clean. I will NOT be staying here again.
