SpringHill Suites by Marriott Columbia

The workers were nice. the beds made my back hurt they were so hard. the pool was not heated. it was freezing. apparently the person that does breakfast had a death in the family. the lady that works the counter managed to get breakfast out for us. we appreciated that. but the on sunday, Fathers Day, the guy that worked the counter didn't even bother to try so no breakfast the next day. also there is a couch that turns to a day bed and a trundle under it but they only gave us bedding for one or the other. i will not be staying here again.

Rooms are perfect for a family! Beds are SUPER comfortable!! Breakfast was delicious!!

For starters, we checked in and they informed us that they didn’t have a 2 queen bed room that we paid for and booked, so they had to put my husband and I and our two teen kids in a king bed room. Then they charged us more money for it saying it was a more expensive room. Everything from entering in the door to the room was filthy!!!! The floors were disgusting, bathroom door in our room broken so it wouldn’t shut all the way. We will NEVER stay here again and I don’t know how anyone has this rated so high.

Stayed for youth tournament. Would like to give it a second try because the room was very nice, but it falls short in a lot of categories for such a pricey room. Well laid out and attractive spacious suite, basically clean but missing towels, trash bags and soap when we arrived. Godawful lumpy mattress but decent pillows. Bath curtain too short and water pooled all over the bathroom floor in a permanent unpleasant cold puddle. No bath mat. Had to throw towels down - three layers deep and they were still soaked and squishy. Advertised breakfast at 6:00 am, but it didn't start until 7 on Saturday - we had to skip it to get to the game on time and it was over by the time the game was done. Day staff very friendly and helpful, night staff couldn't be bothered. Also very noisy - family above us had little kids jumping on and off the beds non-stop - sounded like a construction crew over our heads. Normal hallway traffic was not muffled at all.
