Comfort Suites Vicksburg

Hotel was very nice and clean. Only issue was with the room keys. We did have to wait at the front desk for a while to have it replaced once but the lady who was working was extremely busy so it was not her fault. Husband who doesn’t like hotels said the beds were great and it was the best sleep he’s had in a while. Kids loved breakfast and the pool. The pool was empty every time we went so we didn’t have to worry about the kids bothering other people. We definitely enjoyed our weekend there!

Room was large and comfortable. We had to wait at least 15 minutes for someone to even show up at the reception desk to check us in. By the time the person arrived there were at least 4 other families trying to check in as well.

It was a near perfect stay for the occasion for us. We stayed in Vicksburg to rest for the night before driving the rest of the way home on a road trip, and if you’re looking for a nice, safe, quiet and comfortable place to do that, this is your place. Rooms were spacious. Beds were comfortable and Direct TV in the rooms was a plus. I’m not sure how recent renovations were, but you can tell they put a lot of effort into making this a pleasant stay. Only thing keeping me from giving this a better ranking is we traveled with a kid and we hyped up the swimming pool. It was open, but it was WAY too cold. We tried it out but just could not stay in it longer than 10 minutes. Also the elevator seems to be the one thing that didn’t get remodeled and it had a hint of cigarette smoke, but that’s nowhere near a dealbreaker. Overall, we would stay here again if in Vicksburg and recommend others to stay as well, even if it’s an extended stay!

The location was fine and the staff were very nice. The breakfast was decent. I had two rooms and in one of the rooms the top comforter was stained. We requested another one it was stained as well. The curtain rod was broken and the bathroom was not clean upon check-in. We got in so late that we did our own housekeeping with the Lysol and Clorox wipes we packed. The doors in both rooms with not close properly the floors were not level. Additionally the TV in room 301 had a line in the middle of the screen. We were in town for a funeral and once we returned from the funeral home were informed that the hotel did not have any running water. We had to go to a restaurant to use the facilities. This was a huge inconvenience to my family.

The staff was very kind. The family had fun in the indoor pool.

This is my second time staying at this property and it will be my go to place whenever I visit family in Vicksburg. Its clean, affordable, great location and serve a really good breakfast. I highly recommend to those visiting the area.

Thin walls. The guests above us must have had children that ran around all night. Sounded like stampede. Next door neighbor had tv turned up and we could hear every word.

The suite room was perfect for a family of 4.

I was checking in and they informed me that my card had declined which it had not. I gave them 3 seperate cards and told them it was something on their end since i had money on them and they kept declining. The payment was also pending on my credit card which i informed her of. It was the first night alone for the girl checking me in. I had to then leave and go to multiple other hotels to find somewhere to stay instead of the hotel i reserved. I called to get refunded and the manager i spoke with told me she did it wrong because hotels.com pays the hotel after i pay. So i had to take my 4 kids and search for another hotel because someone was not trained on how to do their job correctly.

We have a family of 6 so it was nice to save some money not having to book two rooms. Having the suite that accommodates the 6 of us was great! The hotel was clean, the staff was cordial, and breakfast was good. The beds were a little hard and we weren’t able to get towels at one point but those issues wouldn’t keep me from booking again. Overall a very pleasant stay at a reasonable price for our family.
