Best Western Vicksburg

Checked in after 3pm... selected the pay at the hotel option. When traveling i tend to turn my cards off bc last year my identity was stolen. So i has missed call from the hotel stating they were going to cancel my reservation due to the card being declined... i was under the inpression i would not be charged until i checked. The bathroom shower had hair in soap holder. The tv kept shutting off fuzzy reception at times In a no smoking room but the ac kept blowing smoke in the room. We tookbour kids to the pool was nice, until we got in and about 20 min in our skin was itching and burning due to strong pool chemicals.

I can't say enough things good about this BW location. The staff treated you like you are a guest all the time, and it was the first time staying there. Easy on and easy off the interstate never hurts!! Thank you for turning a sad trip (travel due to death in the family) into a pleasurable and stress-free trip.

It was nice having a pool, so the grandkids could come to swim. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Having breakfast was nice. Room was clean and they cleaned the room daily.

Location great. Have a child highly allergic to cats! They had an allergic reaction while we were there, seemed possibly there had been cats in the room!

We were recently traveling to see family in Georgia. We got tired around the Vicksburg area. We looked on Hotels.com and found the Best Western Vicksburg at a very reasonable price and we thought since it’s so late, let’s just grab the room! I’m glad we did! In all honesty, the room had a bit of a musty smell, BUT as soon as we turned down the A/C, it went away. Southern humidity, you’ve gotta love it! The bed was very comfortable, the area was quiet, and we had a great night’s sleep. The bathroom and shower was very clean and nice. The next morning we got up and the hot breakfast was very good. The lady who took care of the Breakfast area was so friendly and helpful. In addition, the desk staff and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. On our return trip, after a long day’s travel, we wound up back in Vicksburg and went right back to the Best Western Vicksburg. We got the same friendly service and another comfortable room. Also, It’s very convenient to the interstate and the Vicksburg Battlefield National Park! Yes, it’s a classic 15 to 20 year old budget style Hotel…you handle your own luggage and it may not have all the fancy perks of a 4 or 5 Star Hotel…BUT, the rooms are nice, big, clean, comfortable, the staff is wonderful, and the breakfast is good!! While being used to 4 and 5 Star hotels, when I travel through Vicksburg, Mississippi, Best Western Vicksburg will be my choice!!

It was excellent. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I will absolutely recommend it to my family and friends, and I will stay there whenever I visit the city.

Spacious room set up handicap accessible. Good tasting full hot and cold food breakfast buffet. The bed was very firm - too firm for our sleep comfort. Other than some children running on the floor above us as I was trying to get to sleep, its a nice idea place to stay.

I'm not a huge fan of motels in general, but this one is great. As a mom traveling alone with kids, I felt safe here. Great breakfast; fantastic service, and excellent indoor pool. Super friendly staff and very clean room.
