La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tupelo

We had a good experience overall. The staff was very friendly, very helpful, but all of that went out of the window because once we got home we realized that we’d been bitten by bed bugs. We had a 3 day stay at this hotel. We also had family that stayed as well, and they were in different rooms. They were not impacted but those in my room were. Our bodies reacted to the bites within 2 days of leaving. Will not be returning to this hotel chain unfortunately.

I would not recommend staying here, especially with children. The shower had mold all over it. There were food/drink splatters on the walls and stains on the sheets and blanket. Thank goodness we only needed to stay 1 night. I would check out the other hotels down the street. Cheaper isn’t always better.

Came with a group of kids for a kids camp. First room I was given smelled very moldy. Was given a different room which smelled like stale smoke. After our room was cleaned one morning, instead of putting new towels in the bathroom, the clean towels were left outside the room in a plastic bag. On a positive note, the person who checked us in, Econ, was very helpful and kind. Went out of her way to help us. The person at the front desk when we were checking out on the other hand, was on her phone with headphones in, not looking up at all when we checked out.

Service was great. Pool was nice but cold. The room was what we needed for our family.

We booked this hotel based off of the ratings. When we arrived the pool was empty. We went up to our room and was very upset when we pulled back the comforter to find hair all over the sheets and pillow cases. The hideaway bed still had the sheets on it when we pulled it out for our children to sleep on. We called the front desk and they had me go downstairs to pick up clean linens so my wife and I could strip and remake both beds.

Everyone was very friendly. Clean. Safe. I loved there were a lot of dogs staying, they are our family too.

Great comfortable king bed fit my family of three. Staff were very friendly.

The staff was great, room was comfortable but the pillows are child sized and hard as a rock, no hangers in the closet, not even one and the coffee in the lobby was colored water

Very quiet until last night. The dogs barked maybe once or twice but not late or very early, the kids above us on the other hand were running and jumping at 11pm and then started at 5:30am. The kids were far worse than the dogs. Also, an exec suite is a joke more room with a couch and a lamp, no extra TV or table or chair.

The reason we picked this hotel was bc of excellent reviews. However our experience was not great. We were on a cross country trip with our entire family including our 2 dogs. That being said maybe our experience was due to needing a pet friendly room. The first room we were giving was so gross. Pee all over the back of the door, a sink that didnt drain and long human hair and stains on the bed. I asked for a new room and there was literally dog poop on the floor. The shower head was falling out of the wall. I was tired and found no point in complaining a second time as we were only there for one night. The staff was extremely friendly and lovely, they do deserve recognition for being so delightful. The rooms were just not as clean as i would prefer.
