Embassy Suites Jackson-North/Ridgeland

This review may be biased due to the state of the hotel industry in general, but I expext more. Our stay was one night and was meant to be a break between our drive home from our family vacation. After arriving, there was an issue with their system and we had to wait almost an hour in the lobby before we could check in. The area in the lobby we were sitting was pretty filthy. After we got into our room, we noticed only 3 towels/washcloths which seem to be a common theme among hotel chains. Try to get by with least possible amenities before customers complain. We asked a maid working our floor but she didnt have towels. So had to go to the lobby again and wait around for another 20 mins to get the proper amount of towels to accommodate the known number in our family prearrival. Only 2 small elevators for a fairly large hotel. Went to the pool the next morning an hour and a half after the posted open hours and the lights were off. Told the woman working the front and informed in a vey condescending manner that the pool doesnt open until the maintenance person arrives to clean it and turn on the lights. Also that she didnt know when the maintenance person would arrive, they just arrive when they arrive. In the past few years my family has become spoiled to more spacious, more accommodating, better appointed, and in general more caring individual or company managed Airbnbs or VRBOs, and generally at a cheaper cost per night.

The front desk personnel were cordial and professional. The property was neat and clean. The breakfast provided is always superb. The suites are exactly what a family of five need.

My regular place to stay when visiting family, and they never let me down. Great stay!

We paid for a night’s stay bec our power went out at home. The air conditioner wasn’t working well in our room and the temp didn’t get below 79. We had two little ones asleep and it was late at night when it became clear the air wasn’t cooling, and it was not possible to move. Also the floor was sticky which was gross.

I want to state that the staff was wonderful! From check in, housekeeping to check out. Friendly and helpful with great attitudes. The room we stayed in was in dire need of a major facelift! We had a suite with a bedroom and living room. The sofa HORRIBLE It is time for a replacement! The mattress was HORRIBLE as well! Gave me a backache. The soap dispensers had come off the walls. I would venture to guess that the rest of the rooms are in the same condition. At $182.00 per night they need to remodel this whole place. $182.00 may be pocket change for Hilton executives and the Hilton family , but it is at the top of cost per night for Ridgeland Mississippi. Come on Hilton ! You know you can do better! Get off of some of your cash and remodel this place. I will be looking elsewhere for my future stays.

Wonderful service from Shar (I think that is how it is spelled)! We had a family staycation and she was so friendly and helpful! Also, we LOVED the breakfast omelets. Delicious! and loads of options on the breakfast buffet line..

It was just my daughter and myself passing through, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. My daughter just turned three and everyone was so nice to her. From checking in to just walking to the elevators everyone went out of their way to say hello to her and make her feel welcomed as I did. It was just so nice to have such a toddler friendly staff!

My reservation was for two queen beds, and I got a king suite. They were sold out. The staff was very accommodating by giving us extra sheets and pillows. We had to make a pallet for one child.
