I love how the staff takes care of the property. My only disappointment was a Chinese buffet near by which i took my family to eat. It was very dirty, the dinning chair were dirty, I almost lost my appetite to eat. If I would visit Rochester MN, in the near future, I would like to loge at Hampton Hotel.

Before you book first check to make sure no large groups are also staying. Sports tournament group of high school girls and their families were also staying - noise levels were insane all hours of the day and night. Staff did nothing to address any complaints. Running the halls yelling and throwing equipment around. Breakfast area was empty and destroyed by this group as well. We were in town for a family wedding and was a horrible experience.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and updated. The room was nice and had a perfect layout for sleeping with our toddler. Breakfast was above and beyond, far better than any other hotel breakfast we’ve had. We would definitely stay here again.

I got charged twice on checking in ($580) total. One of the charges is still pending. What if I didn’t have that kind of money in my card!?? Then come 6am, a teenage girl is knocking on my door despite the do not disturb sign! Saying she was looking for a family. Excuse me but as a single female traveler, that is super suspicious and dangerous. Who knows whether she was sent to lure me to open the door? I’m a Hilton honor member but this as the worst stay ever so far.

Our family enjoyed our stay in Rochester. The hotel was relaxing. It was convenient to many great places to eat. The water pressure in the shower and toilet wasn’t good. It was very low pressure in the morning when the rest of rooms were also showering.

The room was nice and big. Excellent shower. The property was full, baseball and softball tournament in town. The kids were a little loud but settled down fine. I was amazed by the staff and the way they handled the free breakfast. The kids and the adults were well fed and the staff kept the food fully stocked. We all appreciated how clean the area was and the quick turnover of seating. 5 stars

Great hotel to stay at, only downside is the sliding bathroom doors. You can’t open the door to the room if the bathroom door is open and the sliding isn’t great for kids as my 2 year old got her fingers stuck in it. People are friendly and the pool is so warm and clean!
