Came to town for a business trip, and decided to try a new hotel compared to last year, I won't be back. This is more of a family-based hotel compared to for professionals. Children were running around the hotel screaming at 5 am, bed was uncomfortable. The worst part yet was that I was placed by Laundry and Hospitality and I could hear the screaming pipes from above as well as loud staff and washing machines. Made for an exhausting work trip with restless sleep.

Beds were reasonably comfortable, breakfast was excellent, room was clean, water pressure in shower was great. No housekeeping while we were there and had to request towels be replaced (and nowhere to hang to reuse or hang bathing suits). Hand soap was somewhat inconvenient for a child to use, placement was too high near sink. Pool was closed for service on our last night/morning which was disappointing for children, also water in pool was rather chilly. Aside from those minor issues stay was great.

Hotel rooms/facilities were very clean and comfortable. However, the pool was constantly filled with screaming children. We were here for a sword fighting tournament, and we need to be able to soak in the pool afterwards to relax our aching muscles. Screaming children make relaxation impossible, so please keep them elsewhere. Also, a hot tub is needed for said purposes.

We got there and found out the pool was closed for painting, have 2 kids that wanted to use it. Asked for a discount, was told it had been posted on the website since December, we did not see it. No discount. Next day the hallway and our room reaked from the paint fumes from it, staff couldn't care less.
Continental breakfast was good and staff attentive there. Beds were comfortable. Our fridge and microwave were just sitting on the floor of our room, weird.

Nice, family friendly hotel convenient to St. Paul and Mall of America. Excellent breakfast service. Free onsite parking Indoor pool. Only drawback was limited housekeeping during our stay (MondayThursday only).

The staff was great. Rooms were clean. Pool area is a bit small. The guy who works at the breakfast on the weekend was so good!! Very accommodating as we brought in an entire baseball team of 12 year olds and families. I would recommend this place.

The staff at this hotel is wonderful, they worked together to ensure our stay was all that it could be.We had to stay an extra night because of a snow storm and the staff did everything to make us safe and comfortable. My kids enjoyed the pool and the warm cookies every night. The shuttle service was always available when we asked for it even when the roads were very snow covered.

This hotel could not have been a bigger waste of money for a night. I believed we were getting a decent deal and what we ended up with was an unkempt room the size of a shoebox (after passing the lobby of dismay). There is no shuttle service time listed on their website & of course we didn't have a flight that fit into it,the shuttle was of course one of the deciding factors for booking this room. It's a good 20 minutes to the airport and really anything else worth doing. The pool was a window of young love in action, as my kids passed by and got a nice view of a couple 'making nice' through the window... no need to use that room. The lobby and hallways were potent with the smell of cigarette smoke. Peeling wallpaper and a toilet that you had to hold the handle down to flush. I did feel better after I adjusted the circa1995 television's color to more of a non-technicolor hue. The capper was the good 10 minutes of yelling that rolled down the hallway after the bars closed! Oh, how wonderful to hear the joyous sounds of unattended drunkards! We did manage to grab a few bites of our complimentary breakfast before we were disappointed to learn, too late for our own children to have participated, that pants were optional for kids under 10. My advice..? Pay the extra 30-50 dollars at the nicer hotels and stay away from Inver Grove's Country Inn.
