The hotel and the room were clean, the bed was comfortable. There were plenty of outlets, so you could plug the phone in by the bed, which I appreciated. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was good. The only negative thing I have to say is that it was disappointing for us that they were giving swimming lessons on the evening that we had planned to swim and sit by the pool. It had been a hot day, and we were looking forward to that. She did rope off a strip of the pool for our use, but there were small children splashing, and it wasn't very relaxing trying to swim in that narrow space.. She was doing a great job, it wasn't anything about that, it was just weird for paying guests to not be able to comfortably use the pool.

Service was top notch, the staff were super friendly and accommodating. My kids enjoyed the waffles at breakfast and the lobby is nice. The facilities and the rooms are a bit run down. My clock hadn't been updated for the time change. There were no weights in the fitness room and one treadmill was broken. None of the ice machines on the floors worked. My pillows were yellowed and lumpy.

There was a constant beeping in the lobby. The hot tub didn’t work. Only 1 of the four ice machines worked. A child who was with us just walked up to the desk and got a new key to one of our friends rooms. No questions asked. The tub floor in our room was “squishy”. 10/10 won’t stay again.

We had such a great time at the Chanhassen AmericanInn. They were so accommodating and gave us a joining rooms with a suite. Our whole family was able to get together and relax. We had such a nice time swimming in the pool. The breakfast was great and everyone had an amazing time !!

It’s a pretty run down facility with some light upgrades. Close to family and a lot of retail.

The room was clean so that was a big positive. Our room had several outlets that didnt work and our AC in the room wasnt working. The elevator had flooring coming up and needed updating. My husband cut his hand on the handrail because the hardware to attach it to the wall was broken. The parking lot was overgrown with weeds. When we asked for help with our AC someone came right away but kicked the unit and disconnected wires to "fix" it. The pool was cloudy which concerned me that chemicals were not mixed properly. Everyone in our family woke up with back aches and sore necks. The staff were working hard and for the most part were friendly but will not stay there again.

Check in was good, the night shift desk attendant was very rude and disrespectful. At booking requested a crib. Had to request again after check in . Also requested a rollaway. 2 hours later requested again. They were delivered when we were gonewith 1 blanket no pillows no sheet. Had to go ask again for pillows. Was threatened with removal from the hotel for to many in the room. They booked it and checked us in. So were aware of the kids in the room.

This hotel was unsafe. Key was given to a room already occupied. Staff was not responsive when made aware of the situation. Instead staff acted as if it were our fault. Management conveniently was not able to speak with us. Instead, a young person was told to offer us a 20 dollar discount. 100 percent awful hotel experience. Do not risk it, stay at a different hotel. Brides and grooms, do not list this as an option for your family or friends.

The hotel was meh for lack of other words. The room you could visabily see mold growth in the bathroom. The mirror on the vanity was broken. We went with family the room that they stayed innthe sink wouldn't drain. In the pool area one of the days you could see poop.on the ground in the community bathroom. The towles were never stocked in the pool area. The staff were mostly friendly, but seemed annoyed when we needed milk at the complimentary breakfast. The complimentary breakfast would be the best part. My kids actually found something they liked.
